Another month come and gone!

Well it's been a little while since my last post. Things have just been a little crazy. We have 4 birthdays within about 8 days so it was like a birthday extravaganza. 2 on the Spence side and 2 on the Christensen side so we had a lot of fun with family. Charlotte is now a little over 4 mo old. She weighed 12 lbs 9 oz and is 25 in long as of Aug 31st, her last check up. She did really good with her boosters. She cried for like a second then was fine. She had 3 shots and an oral. We got some drops for her eye. She was barely starting to get an infection that I had noticed the day before. They drops cleared that up and her tear duct is no longer clogged so her eye isn't all goopy anymore! Yay! We've pretty much just been hanging out. I've been working on losing weight. I started at 197.5 lbs and I'm down to 187.5 lbs now! Woohoo! I've been trying to do the biggest loser thing. I've strayed a bit but I'm just careful with how I eat and make sure I get lots of exercise. I also have this cardio biggest loser video and that's been helping me shed some pounds. It's nice to weigh less than I did before I got pregnant. I just gotta work harder at it.

Well I was hoping to be able to get down to Simi with Charlotte but that's not gonna happen. The renter left the place in great condition. He actually put in a spa and then left it there since the house he was buying had one already so bonus for the next renters! I wish I could afford to come visit but we definately can't afford it. Scott was basically denied his raise and lied to. They said they froze all raises and nobody is being hired yet the day before they put an ad in the paper hiring for a driver... hmmm... funny how that works. So Scott's manager was pretty mad about that so he's gonna let Scott come in Monday's again to get more hours. We are barely squeaking by so this will help a ton. We need to get ourselves outta debt. We are making every sacrifice possible. We just don't waste anything. So it'll be rough until our debt is payed off and dr bills are taken care of. I thought about selling my car to pay off some things and make life easier but mine is the more reliable car so we'd be in trouble there. It's just a good learning experience for us and I think we'll learn a lot from it so we just gotta make the best of it!

Well here are some pictures since it's been a while. The weather is slowly starting to change. I'm excited for winter. It'll be fun to see how Charlotte does with snow and stuff. Oh and my bro in law comes home Oct 1st! Yay! Me and Scott are really excited to see him and have an Office marathon. He's a really good kid and just really fun to be around so it'll be fun to have him back home and hear all his stories. So anyway, enjoy the pics!

Some storm that had come by. The rain looked so sparkly and pretty. I love the summer storms here.

My first ever real homemade cake! It is sooooo good! The only thing not homemade was the filling. I just used some chocolate cool whip I had so it wouldn't be too sweet with a ton of frosting. Not necessarily part of my diet but really good anyway!

Chloe and CB down at the horses. CB is such a pretty cat.

This is my parents dog Jetta. She loves to play with that ball and run. We made her run like crazy. She is so sweet and so much fun.

I love this face. With her eyebrows up looking at me. She is my cutie.

I found her sleeping like this when I checked on her before bed. She grabbed her puppy and used it's ear to cover her face.

Charlotte and my mom. We drove with my parents to Heber to get a load of hay. It was in the 50's up there so we had to bundle her up. We bought her this hat when she was a newborn but her head was too small. So now maybe she can wear it for fall and winter!

Charlotte sitting on dad's shoulders. She loves her daddy.

She looks so much like Scott does in this picture. If you see video of him when he's little you would think they were the same.

Scott's friend Chad and his wife Jonna bought her this shirt. We love this SNL skit from Will Ferrell. Don't fear the reaper!

Playing with her wrist rattle.

Little sleepy girl

Me and my baby just hanging out at home.

This outfit used to be Chloe's. I wanted to see how she looked in it. I love her smirks

She is fascinated by Toby. She loves to watch him. When I'm out front watering the flowers she just watches him run around the yard.

Good for you working out so much and the weight loss! I need too, but the stress right now with the house is enough for me to deal with! That cake looked tasty...if you need a sweet fix that is okay for a diet, I have a recipe for chocolate chip cookies that is low carb, sugar free. It is actually really good too!
