Gotta love the dentist

So bright and early this morning Scott and I had dentist appointments. I was supposed to get up at 7 but apparently turned off my alarm (go me!) but luckily was up by 7:30. So I showered and got ready just before 8 and miraculously fed Charlotte in 10 min. I don't know how she ate that whole bowl of oatmeal and banana's but she was awesome. Then got her dressed and diaper bag packed just quick enough to be out the door by 8:30 for an 8:40 appt. Whew. Scott has done so awesome the last couple yrs we were married but sadly a watch became a cavity. And it just figures it's after we lose dental... well kinda lost dental. We were covered under me with my work but since I quit we switched to Scott's work who doesn't technically have insurance but they cover up to $100 then 50% of anything over that so we shouldn't have to pay too much. They took me back a little earlier than planned so Charlotte sat on my lap as they did xray's and started cleaning my teeth. She was awesome. Then Scott took her when he was done. So my teeth look good and I don't have to come back for a year! Yay! Thank you Cali and the fluoride in the water! So all in all it's been a good day so far.

Later on we're going to have dinner with my family then tomorrow we're having dinner with Scott's family. Oh and we get to hear Rick speak tomorrow which is exciting. Always fun to visit other wards. I've gotta go home and make a dessert for tonight and tomorrow. I just don't know what to make but I love to cook. My new goal is to eventually get a really nice mixer. I've had two hand mixers. The first one I had broke. I tried to push it too hard and burnt out the motor. Then I replaced it with some $8 one from walmart and it's the devil. I hate it and rarely use it. There is no slow setting on it. It's like fast, faster, and so fast you could make a meringue in half the time. I'd almost rather mix by hand. So yeah, I want a nice kitchen aid one that is just amazing. I also wanna get a nice food processor so I can have some assistance as I slowly get into freezer meals. It'll help a ton to not have to chop for hours. I also want a bread maker so I can eventually make homemade bread. I've just been trying to find ways to save us money and some day I'll have it down to an art. We just don't waste anything and check for sales. I kinda enjoy not having a lot of money because I've really learned a lot and I know now how much less I can spend on groceries and be fine and have money for savings or other things.

So I was gonna put a couple pictures up but don't really wanna wait to load them up so you can check my facebook stuff in the meantime. Hope everyone is having a great new year so far!
