Family History

Okay so I'll eventually load up new pics of Charlotte and what we've been up to but I've been so obsessed with family history... just since yesterday! So I just started seeing what information has already been compiled on the internet and what temple work has been done. On my dad's side I've found stuff dating back to like the AD 800s which happens to be in France... had no idea we had any French connections but on some of the lines the further I got the more French the names sounded but they were in England then finally a couple generations farther and what do ya know.... France! So crazy. Had no clue. Its interesting to see. The Christensen side is so Danish. I think I even found a little dash of Norway in there too. As far as my mom's side, that's a different story. Since she is the first convert on her side there is a ton of work to do. She's been able to get some of it done but only back 4 or 5 generations or something like that. So maybe there is just some random inner desire that sparked this or maybe some ancestors are calling out to me to get my butt in gear. I created an account at the new family search site and I'm gonna try taking the online course things to learn more about how to do this and find the information. Hopefully between me and my mom we can figure it out. I'm excited to start doing this so hopefully we can get this work going and find out where the heck we came from! I love family history!
