I know... I'm posting again! So I had to while I had a few minute. Charlotte is just one silly girl. She is already proving to be independent and has this wild little spirit about her. I think she may be an adventurous one. Some things she does I don't quite get but its funny to see her do things her way and have it just so. Now before Charlotte was born we found a changing table for $8 at DI but it had no shelves. I figured no biggie. A while back (like 2 1/2 yrs ago) before we got the house we found out my grandpa had a storage unit and we were told we could go take anything we wanted out of it which we did and it furnished our house thank goodness cuz we had nothing! I found this woven shelf thing that you can hang on the wall and grabbed it thinking "it looks tropical like and I'll make a use for it." Thank goodness I did because it now holds diapers and some of Charlotte's other stuff. Well Charlotte got too long for the changing table so we moved that out and brought the hoop in and a small bookcase. Since I stored extra wipes and diapers under the changing table they took the place of on top of the bookcase at her level. Here's pics of both:
The left pic is her bookcase and where the green wipe holder is, is where the diapers were stacked right next to her hamper. So yeah, easily accessible. Then the right pic is her thing that hangs on the wall. So she's placed her diapers around the room the last couple days but today she did something so funny. She had them placed in little piles around the house. It was like one in each room. So funny. There's another pic below.
So I come out and there are two diapers in the kitchen, some on the coffee table in the living room, three on the floor, then a little bunch in our room in Toby's cage. Then after she did this she grabbed a toy and put it in the bathroom by the tub and went to playing like normal. Such a silly girl.
Then shortly after we picked up the diapers she did something else. I really don't know where she came up with this but I have this pair of cheap sandals from walmart I got and the young women had tied this dean miller fabric I had on the straps so I made myself a pair to. They're nice to wear around the house and actually, I love to wear them when I cook because they have just enough cushion so my feet, knees or back don't hurt like most of my sandals when I wear them too long. So she found these sandals this morning and brought them to me and was trying to put them on my feet. So I slipped them on. Then she wants me to pick her up. I don't know if she thinks we're gonna go somewhere or what but its so silly and she just makes me smile when she does these funny little things. Here's a couple other pics:
I just love my little girl. I better keep this morning in mind because we're driving out to Provo in the next 3-4 hrs for a reception and it sounds like Scott can't get off work in time so should be fun with just me and her. Hope I survive! I'm gonna try to set the laptop up in the rear so she can watch a movie. I haven't gotten a new universal adapter for our portable dvd player so I hope this works!
