Something that makes me cry and 15 facts about me....
What doesn't make me cry. I never used to cry... now I do all the time. Every time I'd bear my testimony in Young Womens.... I'd cry. When I got married.... I cried. Scott still makes fun of me for this..... the first time Scott and I had our own prayer together on our wedding night.... I cried. I was very emotional that day. I get teary eyed thinking about it.... I am getting better though. I don't cry when I teach my lessons each Sunday and bear my testimony and I didn't cry at all when I spoke last! Yahoo! I'm not gonna lie though... sometimes I cry when I watch Biggest Loser... I can cry over anything. I'm so much more emotional since I've been married and since I've had a kid. So lots of things make me cry... that's just me.... oh and its horrible when someone else starts crying... then I start. Like when my brother in law left on his mission. I thought I was just gonna break down. And our niece Mylee took the ribbon from her hair and gave it to him... it was so cute! I was trying to hard to keep it together. We all love Rick and it was hard to see him go and know we didn't get to see him for 2 yrs. I don't know how Scott's mom did it 4 times! It was hard even when he called and everyone would have to say goodbye. But now he's home so we're good. Luckily he was the last so I don't have to do that for a while... although Rick has yet to get married so everyone can expect me to cry then.... and I probably will at Karly's wedding.... so Karly, if you read this.... its my warning... I'll probably cry when I see you all dolled up in your gown....I'm a crier :)
Alright now 15 facts about me.....
1) I love food. I love to cook and I love trying new things.... I wish we had better grocery stores out here and that we had more money so I could try some other things that are a little more exotic (meaning fruits and veggies... I don't do exotic meats... which brings me to #2)
2) I don't eat pork... well mostly.... if its in eggrolls I'll eat it and in like Chinese food I may not notice it but really I don't. No bacon, no sausage, no porkchops, no pork ribs.... I don't do it... it's a weird thing from when I was a kid and used to want a pet pig... I've never gone back
3) I love the color green.... the majority of the color of my shirts in my closet.... I love it
4) I love animals. I have always loved animals. For pets growing up we had a tortoise, snakes, iguanas, fish, parakeets, a cockatiel, bearded dragon, and dogs... I think thats it.
5) Along with #4 I can't kill bugs and I hate spiders. I let bugs outside. I feel bad that they get stuck inside and I just want them to be back where they belong. Same with spiders. I can't kill them and prefer them to be let outside where they belong but I won't get near them so they usually end up dead and flushed down the toilet. I feel bad doing it... I have a guilty conscience when it comes to that. I can't ever kill anything.... I'd never be able to hunt.
6) I'm kinda OCD. I like things to be clean and neat in my home. I can't leave the house with Charlotte's toys out. I force myself to deal with her playing with stuff and making messes but before we eat or leave the house it has to be picked up. I am also a cleaning freak and working on trying to tone it down. It can still be clean without me spending all day cleaning. I try to relax a bit and its something I work on everyday. I don't wanna be some crazy lady when I'm older that washes my hands 5 times in a row and does thing multiple times.
7) I love to watch movies. Luckily Scott does too and its a good thing we don't have cable or satellite so we have lots of time to do that.
8) I love cars... I'm not into it as much as I used to be. The auto show here in UT isn't very impressive. I'm into exotics and the auto show here hardly shows any. The LA auto show is amazing... They had at least one hall at the convention center dedicated to exotics... usually Kentia Hall (sad I have that memorized) I also don't get my car mags like I used to but I still love to see a pretty Mercedes driving around... which is rare around here. Maybe in SLC more likely but not common.
9) I love basketball. I play park and rec from 4th grade until 7th grade. Then club for 8th grade. Then JV my freshman to jr year and Varsity my senior year. I love the sport and love to play organized. I love running plays. I love the technical side of bball and can teach anyone to shoot correctly... its amazing how the right form will make for a gorgeous shot.
10) I'm admitting this... I love reality tv... right now, I'm watching "Say yes to the dress" on netflix. It's interesting watching people try on wedding dresses and pick "the one." Maybe because I never really did that. I just felt so busy with work I just found one I liked online, bought it, tried it on once to get it fitted and again to make sure everything was good. I love my dress but kinda wish I went through the process. Oh well.
11) I love all things tropical. I think I've mentioned how that's my theme I'm going for in our house and one day I'll get there. But I like things to be cozy and laid back.
12) I love sparkly things. I always have. Ask my mom. I think I'm a princess and whenever I have a chance to pick something especially like jewelry... I go for the sparkle.
13) I love getting mail. I don't know what it is but I get so excited to get mail....maybe that's what happens when you hang out with a 18 month old all day :)
14) I am obsessed with shopping for skirts. I only wear them to church or to the temple but for some reason I love to buy them. They are my weakness.
15) Last but not least.... I love the church and the life I have. Being LDS is everything and gets me through everyday... without the church I would have no direction and I love knowing I have family always there for me.
