So I had to post once more before the year ends. Especially since I'm going to put this year into book form and I'd like to do it shortly after the new year. So first off today was my big day. May seem like nothing to everyone else but I was sure excited. I met with my OB/GYN and got my IUD taken out. Yahoo! Way easier than when it had to be put in. My uterus was tilted back after having Charlotte so he had to tilt it down which in itself wasn't too painful but the cramping felt throughout the day later on was not so pleasant. Today it was so quick and painless, I had no idea he had even done it. Cake. Love it. Everyone was joking around saying they'd see me next month... yeah right... we'll see with my track record. So I went to Walmart the other day to get my prep stuff. I happened to have a coupon for pregnancy tests and it expires the end of this year so I picked up a couple to keep on hand. I also had to stock up on ovulation test strips. Since I stopped bleeding altogether with my IUD I have no idea what kind of schedule my body is on so I'm starting testing tomorrow and we'll see. I haven't had a normal period on my own for a long time so who knows. I got a little calendar so I can keep track in there. Because I am so irregular I like to have it all written down to help the dr. figure out my approximate due date. Otherwise they would just have to guess off of measurements in ultrasounds and I don't want to rely on that because I just like accuracy. So I think I have all I need and we'll see what my body does this month.
Well I think that's an exciting way to end the year. Scott and I really had a great year. We've been blessed in so many ways and are really learning a lot together and just have grown so much closer and have learned many life lessons. I can't believe how old I'm getting already and that another year has passed so quickly. Even though some people think I look much younger I feel so much older. I do feel more mature.... sometimes......and have learned a lot more about responsibility. Kids will do that. It's been a year of a lot of growth. I look forward to this next year. I look forward to continue getting healthier. I look forward to Charlotte and how much she'll grown and change. I really look forward to potty training. I can't wait to get out of debt. I'm really excited for my calling and being able to teach the youth from the New Testament. I love learning about Jesus and all the parables. Plus Revelations is a pretty cool and interesting book. So it'll be really fun to learn all that this next year. I can't wait to get pregnant and hope that happens sooner than later... it'd be nice for insurance purposes but if not.. oh well. I'm hoping to get a new dishwasher and if I'm lucky a new bed too. My back has been killing me. I hate to get something cheap though. If I'm gonna spend the money I'd rather do something a bit nicer but we'll see how desperate I get. We also will have to buy Charlotte a bed this year (especially if I get pregnant) so who knows... I've got time to figure that out. I'm just really excited for this next year. A lot of neat things can happen and the best way to start it off is with a little positivity.
I could probably go on forever but I'll stop. Once again I wish everyone a happy New Year. Hope you all had a great year! And to send off I will quote Bill and Ted.... "Party on dudes!"
