Because 5 years ago today he re-enacted our first official date.
First we went here:
We ordered our food to go.
Then he took me here:
We have a special little spot we would sit in by the little river that flows between the Church office building and the reflection pool.
Then when we were done eating and he made sure nobody was around (at the time I was still kinda shy and didn't really like having a lot of attention from people) he gave me this:
And what did I say when he asked me to marry him? I said, "You got it?!" Because he told me he wouldn't be able to pay it off for a little while so I was thinking another month or so. Then he asked again and I said, "Of course!" and he still makes fun of me for my answers. Can you blame him? It was so simple and so sweet and I love him for it.
