Day 5 of 28

Reason #5 why I love my lover...

Because today we celebrated my birthday and here's what we did:

First we went bowling. I took a pic of our frames. We did horrible! It's been so long since we played. We had fun but we need to practice some more. Our scores were so bad!









Next stop.....Temple Square and the Church history museum....

I love Temple Square. So much history there. I think the Assembly Hall is just such a cool bldg. Between the Family History library and the Church History Museum there is this little log cabin I got a pic of. Pretty neat they can preserve these things. There is some neat stuff there at the museum. I think I had been when I was younger but couldn't remember anything. It was so cool to see all this historical stuff from Joseph Smith and the pioneers and prophets. The pic of Scott at the pulpit is supposed to be him acting like Hinckley.

Then we had a 5:30 dinner reservation at The Roof with this view:

It's so nice to eat amazing food and have this view right out the window. This is probably my favorite place to eat. It's so expensive but if you have a Temple Square Hospitality frequent diner card you get buy one get one free on your birthday to eat at any of their 4 restaurants. Naturally we're gonna go to The Roof. They have the best creme brulee. So so good! The one time I eat until I am going to pop. I was sooooooo full but it was worth it.

The pic of me is the spot where Scott proposed to me 5 yrs ago on 2/3/06. The pic of Scott is him freezing while we waited to cross North Temple. Then a couple pics of the SL Temple. I love that temple. So glad I decided to get married there and not in Cali. I just love how amazing this temple is. People built that with their bare hands and without the technology we have. Incredible!





So that was my birthday date night. Scott did such a good job planning it out. I had so much fun with him. He's the best and that's reason #5 why I love my lover!
