So after our little excursion to Skull Valley I wanted to get out more. I love to hike and be outside. I can't wait for Middle Canyon to open up so we can go exploring. I remembered that my little sister was on spring break so I thought I'd call her up to do something. Last minute I decided on doing the Donut Falls hike. It sounded really easy and a lot of fun. I didn't think about the snow part. There's still quite a bit of snow up the canyon. I had never been up it until this day. I couldn't even find the turnoff. The one I think it may have been had a gate closed and we would have had to hike like an extra mile to get to the trailhead. Yeah, that's not gonna work with Charlotte. So we drove back down to an area we had seen some cars pull off and people climbing rocks. So we went there and climbed. These rocks are so cool and its really beautiful up that canyon.

After we hiked up those a bit we walked this little trail that put us across the road from this picnic area. They had firepits and picnic sites. There was a small ampitheater there too and a little playground. The slides had water on them but Charlotte could still run around and play. She loved being out and walking and running. She liked to look at the little river than ran through the area. We were bummed we couldn't do Donut Falls but it was fun to explore and walk around. Charlotte did really good with listening too. When I told her it was time to come off the playground so we could go walk more. It was kind of hard to leave but not as bad as usual. I'd love to try and get up there again once more snow melts. It was really pretty and we had a lot of fun wandering around.
