Then we were all up bright and early at 7:30 am. We did breakfast then went down to my parent's again. We were gonna help plant the garden. So Charlotte and I rode the bike down because it was amazing warm and gorgeous out. We got in lima beans, tomatoes, bell peppers and chile rellenos. We were starting to run out of time so hopefully we'll get the other seeds in this week sometime. That afternoon we went and got a DISHWASHER! YAHOO!!!!! I was so excited! Friday I got a call from my friend Kerianda who saw an email go out about a dishwasher that the lady I visit teach, Jamie, was giving away. So I got a hold of Jamie and it was ours! I am so incredibly thankful that they just gave it to us. It's so awesome to be able to just load the dishwasher and let it do its magic. So great! Plus its an all white dishwasher and looks way better than the icky black and white builders grade we had. I am so happy! So Saturday afternoon we went over picked it up and my dad and Scott got it hooked up. What a blessing! Then we ran some errands and got some stuff at the store. Charlotte's bed should be coming in soon so I wanted to make sure we had everything we need to get her set up. We also got some new tires and tubes for my dad's old bike. Scott might try riding that during the week to save a little on gas and if I ever need the car. Plus we'll be able to go on family bike rides. I think I'm more excited about that than he is :) Hopefully we can get that together tomorrow if this rain lets up any. Oh and then last night Chloe did a partial weave on my hair and did a great job so I look a little blonder too. She is doing so great in her class and I love my hair. Go her! We were up late though. I didn't get home until almost 11.
Then I was up again at 7:30am today. I had to get my lesson done (talk about last min) and get ready so we could be to Scott's Grandma Spence's for brunch at 9:30 am. Somehow I managed. It was so nice to spend time with his family and eat a yummy breakfast before church. Scott's parents also got us a gift card for Macaroni Grill (oh soooooo yummy) so we can go out on Friday for our anniversary. We'll probably eat at the one downtown and then walk Temple Square or something. There's lots to see and do around there. So after brunch we went straight to church and Charlotte was kind of a pain during Sacrament but we survived. Then right after church our home teacher came by. Then I made a massive batch of taquitos for dinner the next couple days. Then got a well needed massage from Scott. Then headed down to my parents for dinner. Whew.... I'm exhausted.
So for Mother's Day Scott and Charlotte made me letters. They're so cute and I love them. Then mother nature brought me a gift I didn't want. Thank you for Aunt Flo... not! So I'm sad to report this would be my 2nd opportunity in the last 5 months to get pregnant and I failed. So tomorrow I am calling the doctors office. I've gotta figure out what my body is doing. I tried to see what webmd.com would pull up and when I typed in my info it said, "You're results could not be calculated. The long length of your cycles could mean that you are not ovulating. You should discuss this more with your doctor." Well thank you web MD for reminding me. At least I know I am ovulating but still think the long cycle lengths are messing with it all. I just really hope I don't have to go back on birth control. And I really hope I don't have to wait two months to get in or this could be a year process by the time we're done. All you fertile mamas out there should be thankful. This sucks. Although I guess I should stop whining too and be thankful I at least have Charlotte. She is a blessing for sure. Ugh.... such a pain.
Well I hope all you mother's out there had a good mother's day and even if you're not a mom I hope you had a good day. Maybe it should change from Mother's Day to Women's day. Celebrate all women. Not all women are lucky enough to be mothers. Either way, I know I had a great day spending time with all our family. I love that we live so close to everyone. I don't know what we'd do without our family. We are truly blessed!
