Enchanted

Okay so for those who know me best they know my type of music. If I said I liked Taylor Swift, they'd probably be kind of surprised. But really she's so talented. I really like her stuff. I had heard a couple of her songs but was hoping to check out her other stuff so who do I turn to? Well my brother in law, Rick, of course. If you knew Rick, you'd probably laugh knowing that he listens to Taylor Swift. You think about his music selection and the two that stick out to me are the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. So there ya go. But he was my source. So I got some Taylor Swift and listened away. That was a few months ago I believe. Maybe the end of last year, beginning of this year.

Now I always like songs that I can kind of relate to or you can almost feel because you almost feel like you've been there. Some songs remind me of people in the past... sometimes people I'd rather not remember :) But there is this one song I absolutely love by Taylor Swift called Enchanted. It reminds me of when I first met Scott. Had that song been around when I met him I'd probably listen to it over and over again. It just seemed so fitting since the first time I ever saw Scott and then met him I just thought he was the cutest guy I had ever seen. I was hoping so badly that I would get the opportunity to get to know him better. I remember he was kind of friends with this girl Leah and a couple times we'd hang out she'd call him and he'd be talking to her and that was who he took on the triple date I was tricked into going on with this other guy. I was so afraid they were like serious or something. It was such a relief when he started to hang out with me and I could tell he was interested.

Well obviously we got to know each other quite well (married for 5 yrs now and almost 2 kids later :)) Definitely my best friend and still just as cute as when I first laid eyes on him. I always love to think back to how we first met and all those fun times when we first started to date. So this song helps to remind me and bring all those memories back.
