Birthday

So I figured I should throw in a little birthday update. It ended up being a kind of crazy day but good none the less. My mom and I took my car over to Big O to get some new tires on my car. I had some dirt cheap ones put on last time and I've had more issues with them than any other tires. They are also super worn and there is no way I'd pass an inspection this year. So my parent's offered to pay for 2 tires and then I could pay for one since I had one newer one put on not too long ago because it got a puncture from a  nail. Well it just so happens Big O had a buy one get one free. The brand was more expensive but they are a much better tire and will last a lot longer. Of course they didn't have them in stock so I had to take my car back yesterday. But it makes all the difference now.

After we came back from Big O I did some more laundry I was way behind on and then went and got Scott from work because he wanted to take me out to lunch. He had talked to Rick too so he ended up coming out to visit for a bit and went to lunch with us. Charlotte loved to see her Uncle Rick. She was so cute. When he left she was yelling for him and said "I want him." She was sad that he had to leave but it was a fun lunch. Charlotte was also mad dad had to go back to work. I took her home for a nap and she was a monster. It took 2 hours to get her down which killed my afternoon of stuff to get done. I had to go to the store for some stuff and so I ended up having to wait for Scott to get home since Charlotte was sleeping. We ended up not getting to my parent's until after 6 and were supposed to leave by like 6:45 to go get our stake temple recommends done. So we ended up skipping the stake interviews to spend more time with my family. Scott said they do them again on the 21st he thought. I'm really hoping I have the baby next week so we can make it the following week. Hopefully I'm doing good and can make it so we don't have to do them with the bishopric again. Oy... I hope it works out.

Then we headed home around 8 and Scott's parent's stopped by. Scott had his dad pick up The Roof cookbook for me since he couldn't do it while we were there the other night. I'm really excited to try some stuff out. They have some goooooood food! I need to get a torch so I can do creme brulee. Oh it'll be so good to try! I also got some money and my brother did an amazon gift card. So now I just have to decide what I want. And I'm totally drawing a blank! I guess a torch is one thing!

I was super stressed the beginning of this week and after I get through each day a little more stress leaves. Especially now that mutual has passed. So hopefully after Sunday everything will be a lot better....well.... kinda :) It'll be a whole new stress level but that's okay. It just feels good to be marking stuff off my to do list. Like last night how Kerianda came over and cleaned our carpets. She really did us a huge favor and its so nice to have clean carpets. Toby had puked on the carpet recently while we were gone so it like soaked up in the carpet and was nasty and then Charlotte was getting ready to shower the other night and peed on the carpet and I couldn't find it at first. I cleaned it the best I could but couldn't do the best job. So I'm super relieved to have clean carpet now.

Well I'm officially 28. Scott makes fun of me because I'm "older" than him. By a whopping 3 months and 8 days. I definitely think of myself as like 20 still. When the heck did I get so old? I don't think it'll sink in for a long time. But it was a good birthday. I'm just looking forward to my little Jackson to get here. And have I mentioned how glad I am that I'm having a boy? There are too many girls coming around and the name Scott and I were set on would not have worked. Especially since someone in the ward due shortly after me is using the same name. That would have been a pain. Okay so now I'm officially done updating until next Monday.... yay!
