February!

So glad its finally February! I figured I better do an update now since who knows how the next couple weeks or so will go.

We've been pretty busy. Scott's working a lot as always. When he's not working he's making lots of phone calls or sending off emails for his calling.  And with any other free time he's usually trying to help me clean or just helping out with Charlotte. He recently had to get a crown (well technically he'll get the real one in like 2-3 weeks). He went in for his check up and he had chipped a tooth a month ago. He found out it was actually a tooth he had to have a root canal on when he got back from his mission. So now he needs a crown which is really expensive. His work covers half so its better than nothing but our tax return is going fast with all these dental/dr bills. But anyway...we've actually had a couple free Saturdays. We still haven't been able to move my parent's horses yet from their old house thanks to weather or my dad being on call for work and having lots of calls. But its been nice to spend time with Scott on the weekend. Especially since its the only day I get to actually wake up to him there. Sunday's he's in meetings all morning then twice a month when he gets back I have to leave for meetings then I make it back to have like an hour at home to get everything else together. This is where its nice to have late church because I can start getting ready at like 8 or 9 and have plenty of time to be ready for church and make sure we have what Charlotte needs to stay entertained in Sacrament meeting.

During the week our schedule is nice and busy too. Especially since we have youth bball going on right now. Mondays I have bball practice with the yw. Sometimes I have to take Charlotte if Scott isn't off in time. I've also been having my dr appts on Mondays because that's the best for Scott. Tuesdays the ym have a bball game so Scott helps with that. Last night I had an appt to teach a new member discussion with these twins that will be my newest beehives next week. I also squeezed in personal progress stuff too and talked about the yw program to help them fulfill a requirement for their Faith in God. Then thanks to my hubby's wonderful calling I was able to get the girls set up for their interview with the Bishop and throw in a temple recommend interview too because they wanna go and we just happen to have a trip 4 days after their bday. His calling really comes in handy when working with mine. So nice to be able to make sure these girls are all set. Wednesdays I have mutual. Thursdays are my yw bball games. Fridays are free days! Love Fridays! Scott usually helps me clean if he gets off early.

Coming up we have quite the schedule too. This Saturday I have been really looking forward to. We're going out for my bday since we have other plans on my bday. We get to eat at The Roof. It'll be our last real date night for a bit. And probably the first real date night we've had in a while so we're excited. Monday I have practice with the girls and my dr appt. Tuesday is my bday but we have stake temple recommend interviews and the ym have a bball game. I wanted to get our recommend renewed before the baby came since they expire the end of Feb. Next Wed I'll have mutual. Thursday yw bball. Friday I was supposed to have a dentist appt but pretty sure I can't lay on my back that long so I'll have to reschedule for March. Then the youth have a temple trip I'm hoping to make. Saturday we have our last bball game of the season then Scott and I have worldwide training that afternoon.

Oh my goodness. It's good I have plenty to keep me busy though. I'll need it because I'm getting really excited. We did get our state return so I got the nursing bras I needed. I hope they fit. I've ordered some clothes I needed for Jackson. Mainly a couple things for church clothes. I'm bidding on some stuff on ebay that would have me set if I win them. It would also save me a bunch of money. I think Jackson is basically set though. I still need to clean out some stuff of his room. I'm really excited to get this guy here and see what he looks like. I think the only thing that worries me about being in the hospital is Charlotte. I just hope she does ok. I know Scott will be off and he'll be able to check on her but I think that's what I worry about most. Just making sure she doesn't feel lost in it all. I really hope its an easy delivery and quick recovery just so we can get home and make things as normal for her as possible. Love my bug.

As for Charlotte she's growing up so fast. She makes us laugh a lot with the things she says. She's very smart. She's a great helper for me and I'm pretty confident she'll do really well when we get Jackson home. She can do quite a bit for herself. She loves to sing songs and I'm so surprised with how many songs she knows and how much better she's doing at singing them. She's so cute. She loooooooves family home evening. We do the lessons from the nursery manual. They are perfect for her and she has a lot of fun with them. She loves church and loves nursery. Its always fun to ask her about stuff while we head home. She still loves to play with her playdough and can get that out of the pantry herself. She's still a picky eater. She loves showers and never takes baths... still. When we get ready to shower she undresses herself and takes off her own diapers and puts them in the garage (that will come in handy with the baby). When she's in a good mood she's great about cleaning up her toys. She knows where stuff goes and although its not perfect its help and I really can't complain. She is definitely still a daddy's girl. Maybe even worse now. She gets really whiney when Scott gets home and I am pretty much out of the picture. She wants nothing to do with me. If she wants something Scott has to do it or get it for her. She sure loves Scott. Oh and although I have really slacked on pictures recently I do have one of Scott and Charlotte. One day when Scott got home he was so tired and was laying on the ground. Charlotte brought him a pillow and blanket then grabbed herself one of each and laid down next to him. She's a sweetie. Always making sure her Dad is taken care of.
Don't mind the torn apart vacuum in the back. I needed a new belt....Anyway, Charlotte is a sweet heart. She's so sweet when she gives us hugs and she'll tell us that she loves us so much. She can also throw her fits and really test our patience but of course we love her anyway.

I think that basically sums up everything. We're so busy with life and callings. I look forward to a little break here. I'll probably just update with each dr appt which is hopefully only 2 more. Fingers crossed! Then we'll let the baby party begin. I'll have a baby and then two more women in the ward are due shortly after me. I think another is due end of March or April and another in June I believe. I think our building needs a bigger mother's room. Ours only has 2 chairs in it and it rather squished. Oh and my sister in law is due like 2 or 3 weeks behind me I think and Scott's cousin just had her baby a few days ago. It really is a baby party this year! So I guess just stay tuned and hopefully we'll have our little man here soon! I can't wait to take another pic like the one below. Charlotte was so long and skinny. I think he'll follow suit. So excited!
