Jackson 2 months

So Jackson had his two month appt on the 17th. He is seriously such a good baby. I got him undressed and while we laid him down and measured and weighed him, he just smiled and was super happy. He is 24 in long and 12 lbs! I couldn't believe he weighed that much. The dr said that puts him on the charts at 97th percentile for height (just like Charlotte always has been) and 75th for weight (way higher than Charlotte has ever been). Then I can't remember his head but something like 30th percentile (same as Charlotte). He just seems so different from Charlotte and so easy going. He started to fall asleep right before the dr came in to check him. But did he get fussy when the dr checked him out? Nope. He just laid there and smiled at the dr and started trying to talk to him. He didn't cry at all while the dr was checking him out. So different.

Everything looks good though. He's progressing well. He told me one thing he's noticed with babies that are happy and laid back like that sometimes take longer to roll over because they just don't have any desire to try since they're just content with where they are. So he told me if it seems like around 4 months he hasn't rolled over or made much effort not to worry yet. It's most likely because of his cheery mood. He also recommended no bumper pad in his crib. I guess those are the new recommendations against SIDS. Works out well since I never bought a set because we didn't have the money. Then at the end of the appt the nurse came in and gave him his shots. That made him cry but he calmed down pretty quick and was fine.

He's just such a cute boy. He loves to smile and chat it up with you. He still eats great and sleeps great. He usually sleeps about 6-8 hours at night. Its nice but usually means I get up earlier because he'll get up around 4:30 or 5 and usually stay up an hour or so eating and burping. By then its about 6 and getting rather light out so it is hard for me to fall asleep. But if I can snag a few minutes while I'm trying to get Charlotte down that usually helps. It's just amazing how much easier he seems than Charlotte. It'll be interesting to see how he is as he gets older. But I'm sure loving having a boy.

I have a few recent pictures. I'll do more of a post on Charlotte eventually since her bday is Saturday and she'll be 3. I can't believe she's that big already!

Scott was really tired and I guess Jackson was too. They both crashed and I had to take a picture. Love these boys so much!
