Shooting

For our combined activity we went shooting at the Tooele Gun Club. I have never shot a gun before... besides a bb gun. I was a horrible shot then and still am. But it was fun! We used a shotgun. It was pretty powerful and I have a bit of a bruise from the kickback. But I think I held onto it pretty good so it wasn't as bad as it could've been. It was a lot of the girl's first time shooting so we had a ton of fun learning and trying something new together! I took plenty of pics! Unfortunately with the lighting my camera doesn't do so hot so some of the pics are pretty grainy. Oh well... I tried :)

Love the views in Tooele and at the Gun Club its set back from everything and has awesome views of the valley and lake. Can't beat this view!

The girls and Noah :)

Bishop, his first counselor, and YM pres. Makes me feel so much safer watching these guys shooting and knowing they all live so close. Only in Tooele, I swear :)

Some of the boys and the Kioa girls.

Kaitlyn and Celeste. The first time I was 2nd counselor these two were a couple of my first beehives. It's been fun to see them grow up and now they're becoming Laurels! We have some amazing YW!

The girls and Noah again

It was a really fun activity and I'm glad I decided to try something new and something that scared me a little bit. I feel so much more confident now... even if I'm a horrible shot :)
