Zoo again

Last Friday Scott was off work at 11:30 so I thought we should put our lovely zoo passes to use and go now that its not blazing out anymore. So we spent the afternoon at the zoo. They're doing some new con stuff. The train is shut down and all of discovery land is under construction. Along with everything between discovery land and the apes. I think there were some monkeys and some camels... not sure what else. But it's all being torn down and debris removed right now. It was a nice afternoon and not too crowded. Most the animals seemed to be sleeping. Like these guys:
 And this guy:
The elephants were up. Zuri was moving around.
Elephant family! So cute! I love how he just pushes her out of the way to get to the food.

Charlotte was getting tired. And she really wanted to wear her new pair of sparkly pink toms! So her heel got a blister. Poor bug!
 The sea lions
Napping tiger. The only one we saw.
Charlotte named off like 10 different animals she wanted to ride before getting on the carousel then decided on tiger at the last min.

It was a fun little excursion and such a nice day. Looking forward to being able to go more while it's so cool!
