Charlotte's dreams

Charlotte has some crazy dreams. I think she's like me. She remembers a lot of her dreams. It seems like a lot are kind of scary to her though. That's what she tells me at least. And maybe its because she's so little. Most of the ones I remember from when I was little are the scary ones. She was telling me about one last night though that was really weird. I had to record it here so I'd have it.

She said she was sad because the ghost wouldn't let her see her mommy and daddy. She told me she kept trying to come home to mom and dad and he wouldn't let her. I asked her about the ghost. If he looked like a person. She said no, he looked like a ghost. So I asked her to describe it. She said he was white like a ghost and had black eyes, black nose and black mouth. She mentioned something about trying to go to my parents too but couldn't. This ghost wouldn't let her and all she wanted was to be with mommy and daddy and he wouldn't let her go home.

I always wonder about dreams. I've had a lot of meaningless dreams that can be pretty hilarious and some that are just kinda creepy. I've had ones about Scott that just make me sad. One of the worst was the dream I had when he died but I was allowed to see his spirit and he could stay there for a couple of days to help me get through the tough stuff of trying to adjust to life without him. It was really sad and I was so glad to wake up from that dream. But I think sometimes our dreams have meaning or a little reality to them. I remember being really troubled after my Grandpa Zapka died. My mom siblings were basically going to kick us out of our house unless my parents paid full price for it because my mom's sister convinced their dad that if my mom got anything of his, his money would go to the church and he hated that idea. So my mom was written out of the will and they were going to kick us out. It was a joke. I was so frustrated. I wasn't ready to leave my friends at the time and was really upset by it all. I couldn't understand why family would do that to each other. But I had a dream and my grandpa was there. We were all having a pool party in our backyard. He pulled me aside and told me it was all going to be okay and it'd work out. And it all did work out. Up until recently my mom was still being screwed over by her siblings. She recently lost out on a rather large chunk of money. She got some but not what everyone else got. The excuse was because she was only on her mom's will and not her dad's. So sad.

But anyway, Charlotte shares some crazy dreams with me and I need to try and write them down. They can be pretty interesting and may provide some insight to struggles or things she'll deal with in the future. Charlotte my little dreamer :)
