Blood work

Good news today. Blood work came back negative for cancer. That's basically all they were really looking for. So that's great news. I wasn't too concerned but it's nice to have that confirmation. I got my MRI scheduled for Thurs. They could have done it tomorrow at 9 but it takes 45 min to an hour and Jackson has his appt at 10 and I really don't want to reschedule his so I decided on Thurs morning at 9:30. Sadly there isn't an open MRI but the lady said that since its for my abdomen my head will be more towards the end. Hopefully I won't get claustrophobic. I think I'll be fine. Especially if I get a blessing from Scott. All will be well. So they'll scan me and then pull me out to put and IV in and do a contrast. So glad its not like the CT scan where you have to drink the nasty stuff. Bleh. And I don't have to fast. Had to do that with my CT scan too. So although it will take much longer I can eat and not drink the chalky stuff. Woohoo! Oh and because our deductible has been met I only have to pay 30% so it'll be like $255 or something like that. Phew! Big relief. I swear I paid a few hundred for my CT scan so this is a BIG relief. They can split it into 3 payments and I just have to make the first payment Thurs. And Scott just got a bonus check and I just got a reimbursement check from church. So I'm totally set. Scott gets paid Friday too so it'd be all good either way.

I'm really interested in what's going to happen. I don't know if I'll need surgery and if so how quick they'll get me in. I hope they get me in really soon. Either way I'm going to be in pain for the holidays. Before the end of the year would be fantastic. Guess we'll have to see. But already this is turning out better than I thought. Minus the worse pain today and all that :) We'll see what answers the MRI brings. Wish me luck!
