He has started talking more. His vocabulary now consists of hi, mom, daddy, hey, go, hi baby, ball, eye, bye and Scott and I swear he said blanket the other day but haven't heard it since. He's about on target for an 18 mo. old. By then he should be able to do 8-10 words and start putting them together. He can already throw a ball overhand which is usually around an 18 mo old thing. He should be able to kick a ball by then too. He's a funny little guy with his communicating. When he's ready to eat he goes over to his high chair. When he wants his milk he goes to the fridge. When he gets his milk he goes for his blanket and likes to sit and drink his milk with his blanket. He loves to play with Charlotte and loves sharing snacks with her. He can point to his eyes and nose. We're working on ears and mouth. He is wild at church and I am so looking forward to him being in nursery soon. Hallelujah! What a glorious day that will be. Then if we can just get through sacrament we can enjoy the other meetings.
He loves to go on walks, bike rides or just play outside while Charlotte pulls him in the wagon. He's getting to be a little more of a punk at the store. Trips aren't as easy. Charlotte is the good one now and he just wants out of the cart. If it takes more than 15 min then he's usually had it. He's not as cuddly as he used to be. I miss the cuddles. Maybe when he gets bigger? Haha yeah right! He has this crazy obsession with his shoes. He looooooooves wearing shoes and socks. I was worried at first because he spent a lot of time barefoot when he was younger but now if his shoes don't get put away he finds them and follows me around holding them up until I put them on. Then he thinks he's pretty hot stuff once they're on. He sleeps good at night. He'll go down between 8 and 9 and sleep until anywhere from 6:30 to 8:30. Usually only like 6:30 to 7:30 but once in a blue moon its later. Not that it helps me because if he sleeps late she's up early. If she sleeps late he's up early. That is my luck. He'll take his first nap between 10 and noon. Depends on how late he sleeps in. If he gets his first nap early there is a chance he'll take another that afternoon. Otherwise he just stays up until bed time. Most days it's only one nap though.
For the most part he's an easy kid. He gets into more than Charlotte ever did. He can push chairs out from the table and climbs up there. He climbs on the couch and the rocking chair. He climbs on our bed. He'll get into drawers if he can open them. He gets in the dog food if it gets left down. He's a little troublemaker but he's oh so cute. Oh and he loves to wear things on his head. The other day he walked around for a while wearing my Jamaican sweatband. It was awesome. Cute little guy. I'm just so glad he came to join our family. I love having a boy and it's so fun to have something other than a super dramatic girl! :)
