Jackson is a super funny boy. He is so silly and talks so much. The dr asked how many words at most we heard him put together in a sentence and I said, "well, he likes to say 'no, I don't like it' a lot. The doctor laughed and said his speech is good then. He's basically on track and possibly a bit advanced. He says things like "go for walk" and "I see the car" a lot. He knows most of his colors. Sometimes I don't know if he says the wrong color because he is being silly because he has done that but sometimes I'm not sure if its he gets confused or has issues seeing colors. I'm not worried about it yet but my brother can't see pastel colors so that's always in the back of my mind. He's still young though so I won't stress over it.
He loves watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Yo Gabba Gabba, Ninjago, and sometimes this Frances show. He sings a lot of songs from Daniel Tiger and Jake. It's so cute to hear him try to sing. He loves his cars and loves to build with blocks and play with Charlotte. He loves coloring, drawing and painting with Charlotte. He is still in his crib (hallelujah!) and will stay there until we buy a bed for Charlotte which will probably be for her bday. I'm hoping to decorate her room a bit but don't want to make it too girly in case we have more kids and Jackson needs to move in and we put the bunk bed in there. So for now he stays in his crib and hasn't crawled out. Yay!
Oh and he knows the letter H. He got this leap frog toy from my mom where you put the letter block into this slot and it says the name of the letter and the sound and he has only recognized H so far. I'm sure if I worked on it more with him he'd probably know more but I'm a bit of a slacker. Oops! He's a pretty silly boy though. He loves to run around and scream and be crazy and goofy like any little boy. Sometimes he's so sweet and so fun to cuddle. He's so easy going. He sleeps pretty good. Still one nap a day. Usually for about 2 hours. Goes to bed around 8:30 by the time we're done reading and praying. He'll wake up around 7 or 7:30 usually. He's just been awesome. I love that little boy so much. I'm so glad he wanted to come to our family. I know we will be blessed by him and he will be just as amazing as his dad when he grows up. Love my Jack Jack!
