Memorial Weekend

Memorial weekend was so nice. Saturday I got some Canna bulbs planted since those seem to do really well in my planters and one of my planters has been suffering. Hopefully the Cannas last! I also did some green onions, basil and cilantro in small garden boxes. We'll see how they hold up. I have a plan to do a garden if I have the money to get the stuff together. We'll see. I'll make it work somehow. Sunday night once the kids went down Scott went in to work. He wanted to make his Tues easier so he was going to go Monday but he wanted to be able to spend time with us too so he just worked from about 9:45ish to about 12:15-20. Monday morning we were hoping to figure out our sprinklers but as soon as we turned them on another valve was busted. EVERY SINGLE YEAR! I am so annoyed with our system. So until we can replace the valve we got a sprinkler to attach to the hose and I'm hoping we can keep our grass somewhat alive.

We have some new neighbors moving in to the north of us and I got to meet them. Scott helped them move in on Saturday. They're really nice and have 3 kids with another on the way. Their oldest is Charlotte's age. The two older girls (ages 5 and 3) came over to play in the sprinklers for a bit then played with Charlotte for a while. That afternoon we went down to my parent's. Here's all the pics I took.

Playing Disney Princess Go Fish with Daddy

Jack wanted to share her towel with her

Oliver likes to sleep on the car now

My parents found a hummingbird next. I need to get another pic from far away so you can see how tiny it is. So neat how they make a next like that though!

This was a nest for European Starlings before but looks like the babies have moved on and a Roby laid her eggs here.
So at one point my parents had seen 3 baby bunnies. Then within a couple days they found 2 of them that had been killed by some animal. So then there was one. Until another baby showed up. Then another! So now it's back to 3 for now. I wish we could catch them!

My parent's got Jack this swing for his bday. We finally put it up at their house.

Mouse and Dove eating

I love this beautiful horse. She has the shiniest coat and she hasn't even had a bath! She's so gorgeous!

So Mouse cracks me up. She's normally not so cuddly but was letting me cuddle with her and get hugs. So I thought I'd see if she would let me take selfies. She's hilarious!

We got some sparklers and thought the kids would have fun playing with them
