Temple Assignments

This month our ward had two temple assignments and Scott and I were fortunate enough to be able to attend both. It was so great to do temple work for the family names we have. We did sealings on the 6th then had an initiatory assignment on the 16th. On the 16th we decided to go early enough to grab a quick dinner at Lion House Cafe. We had never been and had buy one get one free entree. It was really good and I really enjoyed it. I have some pictures from both days because spring is my favorite time of year at Temple Square. So gorgeous!

This was the day after Scott's bday so my parents gave Scott $100 to buy a nice bball. They were watching the kids so after initiatories we rode Trax over to Dicks. I kind of forgot to make sure we were on the blue line not green so we had to get off on North Temple and then hop a train back over to the Gateway. Oops! But Scott was able to get 2 with $3 to spare. A really nice indoor one and a good indoor/outdoor one. That was a fun little mini date night. We treasure those!

So funny story about this pic. This lady asked if we didn't mind taking a picture of her and sending it to her phone which had died. I agreed and when she said 805 for the area code I was thrown off. I too am a fellow 805-er! She was from San Luis Obispo though. Still close to Ventura Co! Just kind of funny. Not even sure if she's a member or not but she was really nice! :)
