4th of July

It's already been a month since I last posted? Serious? I has been CRAZY the last few weeks getting everything together for camp so I've been just a smidge busy to say the least :)

We were really excited to have Scott home. So nice to spend time with him. We got up a bit late and I didn't have time to make breakfast so we stopped to grab some. We had the wagon and went looking for a spot but found nothing. It was packed! Then we happened to be walking by this house where we have been in years past. Normally we're there with Scott's parents but they weren't there this time so we didn't plan going there but then saw Scott's oldest brother there so we decided to stay. It was so nice to be in the shade and the kids love seeing their cousins too! Jack was not a huge fan of all the emergency vehicles and loud sounds. He was really clingy. Which is way better than running around a ton! The kids loaded up on candy. We got a ton this year. Here are some pics of the parade:

Haha! Those ears! I love them! :)

Olivia

Malia and Will

Could not get that cute little punk to look at Daddy :)

My boys... I love them both so much!

He eventually started hiding his face. I don't know if he was scared or shy or what. But he was excited when it was time to leave. Poor dude!

Charlotte loved this float because it had princesses on it. Only my Charlotte

Will was cracking me up. He kept running out to get candy but was being cautious making sure nobody was going to run over him. He's a cutie.

I always love the horses even though some of them look so small! I just thought that paint in the back is gorgeous!

So you rarely get to see a delorean in person unless you use to live in Simi and saw that one commuting all the time on the freeway. Well apparently there is one in Tooele now too! Haha! I mean really, how is it that the two towns I've lived in my whole life have one? So funny, had to snag pics.

I have no idea what this is but I had to take a picture... haha! Only in Tooele :)

Ashlee with Ethan and Gideon on the firetruck. Charlotte was so excited to see Ethan. She just loves him and Ashlee is just one of the sweetest people I've ever met. So glad she moved into our ward!

That night we had dinner at my parents then decided to do a few small fireworks at our house. Charlotte loves the smoke bombs. Jackson hated everything and just wanted to be inside on the kindle then eventually just wanted to go to bed. Poor kid missed out! He's a sensitive little guy I guess. Lucky him we're doing it again on Pioneer Day this Thurs when my nieces and nephew get into town. Oh and it didn't even matter that we didn't have much. Our neighbor hood was lit up! We had TONS of people doing aerials so we got quite an amazing show in our own front yard!

I think there had been a fire somewhere and with all the smoke and stuff from fireworks the moon was looking a little orange. My new camera takes much better pictures!
