This was the only big fire we've had in Tooele so far this year. It started from lightning. This girl in our ward is a volunteer fire fighter and worked this fire. I guess they were also burning to prevent it from getting worse so it looked pretty big but some of it was to protect surrounding areas. I went out one night to take some pics and got these.
They brought in a couple planes to drop retardant. Since it was just like 3 miles or so from the house we got to see them fly pretty low. They were fun to watch and my camera got some decent pictures.
So thankful to those firefighters and their hard work. This was basically out in a couple days. They did awesome!
