Baby Hawk

So my parent's neighbors have had this hawk nest all spring and summer. The mom, dad and baby are around a lot! Which is great. Keeps the rodent population down. The baby is pretty comfortable in the neighbor's yard and my parent's so one day it came over into their willow in their backyard. So cute and funny to watch.

Poor thing is learning about how to land in certain types of trees. It's kind of big for the willow but tried landing in it again and while still gripping branches it was falling backwards. So here it is on its back with its wings out. I was getting kind of nervous that it was stuck but figured out how to move itself and get out of there.
