Wow, it has been a very long time since I've updated anything... I suck. Well obviously things went well with my pregnancy for the most part. I've been really lucky. I finally quit work and it has been so wonderful! Scott and I are really poor and it won't be easy but we'll get by. As long as we can pay for our house and bills and have enough to buy some food we'll be alright. I'm getting really good at not wasting anything though! I love being home though. It's so worth it. I can clean during the week and keep the house looking a lot nicer. The laundry gets done before it's almost too late. The dishes don't pile up. I feel so much less stressed. I don't think I've been happier.
A lot has been going on. I went to the doctor this past Monday. I had been going every week for the last 3 weeks. He finally did an exam to see how my body is progressing. I was dilated to a 1 on Monday so I'm in my early labor stage! Woohoo! Everything was looking good and he goes out of town April 30th and he wanted to make sure he was there so he's like, let's induce you next week! I was originally going to go in Sunday night but the hospital said Monday night was better. So Monday night I go in at 8. They are gonna start me on my meds for my group B strep and make sure that's under control. He said they'll probably give me a sleeping pill so I can get some rest for the big day. Then Tues morning they'll give me meds to induce me and hopefully not too much later I'll have had the baby! I'm hoping I'm almost a 3 by the time I go in since I've been having more pains and my contractions are getting stronger. Hopefully it won't take all day on Tues. We'll see how quickly I progress. Good news too is that he has no restrictions on when I get my epidural so whenever I'm in pain I can have it. Yay!
It's kinda crazy to think about. We've been doing all our last minute stuff. We definately didn't think it'd be this soon but I'd rather go sooner than later. I was able to get a couple more things we absolutely needed and other things that make life easier with a baby will just have to wait until we have the money. I had a shower but I really don't know many people up here so everything I got will be very useful and helped a ton but there is so much more I could have gotten to make things go smoother. That's ok. There is a DI here and my mom actually helped us out a lot and bought me some more clothes and burp clothes so I'm not running out of clothes and doing laundry like 5 times a week. She's really helped us out a ton. I feel so much more comfortable. I was stressed because I didn't even have a very warm outfit to fit a newborn to bring the baby home in. All the 0-3 month stuff just looks huge and I'm really not that big. I'd be surprised if the baby was 7 lbs. I think she's gonna be a little smaller. But I think I'm set now.
I'm just so excited. I don't even feel nervous about the delivery or having to take care of a baby. I feel so relaxed. It's great. I finally did decide on a middle name. Her name will be Charlotte Analee Spence. Charlotte is after my grandma Zapka (my mom's mom) and Analee is a combo. My dad's mom's name was Leora. I thought that was a little too old lady sounding but everyone called her Lee. My great grandma on my mom's side was named Ana. So I was originally just thinking Ana but looking under that name I found Analee and thought it'd be a good combo to kinda remember them both since I really wanted to include my dad's mom too. So yeah, I thought it was different and cute so Charlotte Analee it is.
Well I wish I could say I knew when I'd be able to post pics and update this but I have no clue. I'll try to as soon as I can. For anyone who reads this I can send you a text and maybe a pic from my phone so just make sure before Monday night you send me a text or something to make sure I have your cell number. I lost a lot of them when my dog ate my phone the last couple times so yeah. I'll do my best to let you all know! I wish all my friends could be here. I miss you guys so much. The house behind me is going into forclosure. The outside actually looks better than mine because they have a yard. I'm not sure on the inside and it may only be like 1500-1800 sq ft but you'd be my neighbor! There are actually plenty of houses in the area up for sale so if any of you wanna move to Tooele and live in the best ward ever... look us up! I'm so desperate to have my friends near me :). Anyway wish me luck and I'll let you know as soon as I can when she's born! Woohoo!

I wanna know! 805-390-9266. Good luck Audrey-o, Audrey-o, Audreeey-oooooo! Being induced is interesting. Everything starts so suddenly. Contractions, pain, so on and so forth.
I am not sure I would call being induced interesting like Julie does...more like no fun at all! But if you are getting an epidural, than I wouldnt even think twice about it. Hope everything goes well for you! I will send you a message on FB with my phone number, I would love to see a picture of your little girl and hear how things went!
yeah i've heard if they use pitocin it can be quite painful but they're not using pitocin. it's misoprostol or cytotec. same thing. it's supposed to get you moving quicker and i think be a bit easier on your body than pitocin so we'll see! i'm excited though. 2 1/2 hrs until i go in! yay!
