Scott and I had been walking this past weekend and took some pics so I have some more. My brother in law whose serving his mission in Argentina was asking for some pics so I figured I'd post them on here. I really do love living up here. The valley is so pretty and I just love the neighborhood we live in. I wish I could convince my friends to live up here. There are homes for sale in our ward! All probably about the 160's. My visiting teachers actually had a baby shower for me on Sat. since we couldn't do it before I had the baby. It was really nice of them. I got some cute things. It's also nice talking to some of the women in the ward and know we're not the only ones struggling financially. It seems like most everyone is in the same boat and making a lot of sacrifices for their families. They've all given me some great tips too on saving money on groceries and things. I just love it here.
Oh I do need to take some pics with my new hair. I decided on Sunday I was sick of my long hair and trying to take care of it so I cut it. I'm too cheap to pay for a hair cut. It's that or groceries and I'd much rather eat so I did it... Scott had to help a bit and I'm sure it doesn't look that great but oh well. It works for me and I really don't care. It's shorter and nicer. I'll probably grow it out a bit though then cut it once it's all my natural hair color. I've got about 4-6 more inches to go and it'll be all me. Anyway, here's my pics. I gotta hurry and get back home and try to get to bed at a decent time. Need some good rest for the Lakers game tomorrow. It can be very stressful watching those games!
This is a view of the Oquirrh Mountains with the Tooele 'T' on the hill. I hiked there with my young women last summer. I love the spring up here... so green!
This is our new Gold's Gym. Really nice building... probably the nicest in Tooele right now.
This is the Kirk Hotel. It's supposed to be haunted. I've heard of some weird things that go on there. I think they are like furnished apartments or something like that.
This is a view of the Stansbury Mountains on the west side of the Tooele valley. This view is aimed mainly at Deseret Peak with snow still on it. We took this pic at the park near our house. One lap around the park is 3/4 mile so I like to walk at least a couple laps around with Charlotte everyday
