It is about dang time... we finally got our cheap laptop and I now am connected to the world again. So awesome. I can't believe it's been like 3 weeks. We've done quite a bit. We had Scott's mission reunion. He got to see some his old mission buddies. I always have fun showing off Charlotte. Some of the guys have some super cute kids too. It was fun to catch up with a couple people. One of his buddies, Jeff Pitt, and his family had come up from Vegas. We ended up meeting up with them at the zoo. It hailed and rained and thundered but man did we have fun. It was practically empty and him, his wife and kid are a blast. We wanna meet up with them in Vegas on our way to CA next month.
The weather finally is warming up. Days in the 70s are so amazing. Love it! Charlotte and I have been able to go for bike rides. I love riding my bike out here. We actually rode down to my parents. It was like 6.2 miles down there. I only went one way cuz I'm so not ready for the huge uphill coming back into Tooele. I can hardly handle the incline for like the last mile or so to my parents. Working up to it though. Taking Scott lunch helps cuz it's uphill basically the whole way so good practice.
We had an opportunity to get Bee's tickets from my old work. We took Charlotte to her first minor league game. It was fun. We got the super yummy super fattening all star dogs and Charly shared with us. We left after the 7th inning stretch though cuz Charlotte was so tired and crashed. We wanna take her again. I had a lot of fun.
So let's see updates on us.... Charlotte is getting so big. Not walking yet but just this last week had 2 more teeth pop through with signs of like 2 more. She's still skinny but loves to eat big girl food. Sometimes she won't eat her food and insists on sharing my Cheerios in the morning or whatever I may be eating. Just in time for Cali. This will be good.
Scott is doing the same 'ol pretty much. He works like crazy to get any hours we can to keep paying off debt and also to pay for our trip to Cali. He's a hard worker. We're hoping to be able to get him back in school. He's been off for a year cuz last year his finals would've been around Charlotte's due date and we just haven't had the money since. We've contemplated a student loan but when our debt is paid off next year we can probably just pay for it... we hope :)
I'm another story. I've got a lot of little issues I need to take care of with doctors. I've had this weird skin rash I used to get in high school and I need to get that taken care of. Ever since I had Charlotte my left wrist has hurt. I thought it'd go away with her crawling but it still hurts pretty bad if I pick Charly up kinda funny. I also have been feeling really tired and just kinda outta it. I don't feel myself and I've had some pelvic pain I am praying is not another cyst. I'm gonna see how things go this week. I don't wanna go through the cyst thing again. There's a couple other things but yeah.... besides all that I feel so much different than I used to. I eat better now and I've lost weight and inches on my waist. The biggest loser stuff is amazing. I don't get cravings the way I used to and I feel in control now when I eat. It's incredible what the plan can do.
Well I can't think of much else. I hope to be updating this much more frequently now. I'll try to post new pics in the next couple days. I'm just so glad to be connected to the world again. So awesome! Oh and congrats to Meg on her new baby!
