So I've officially become addicted to Law and Order SVU. It just happens to be on when I usually put Charlotte down for her first nap. So as I'm giving her a bottle I can watch it. I guess the Sunday race was rained out so they had to do it Monday. Boooooo! You know how disappointing it is to see that stupid thing pop up when it should be my much more entertaining Law and Order? And one thing I learned about NASCAR that I never knew... they say an opening prayer before each race! How totally weird is that. I guess they do appeal to lots of Christian groups in the South... just an odd thing I never knew.
So although NASCAR may ruin my morning at least I have Charlotte. She is so dang entertaining. I'm thankful that our basement isn't finished cuz between the stairs and extra space to make messes I'd be nonstop busy. It's really nice only having 1100 livable sq ft. It also helps that all her toys are in totes. There is the big tote for her normal toys then the small tote in her bathroom for bath toys. She empties the bath tote at least 3 times a day and pulls a few things outta the big tote multiple times a day but it's so easy to clean up. The only trouble I have is if laundry is at her level or she decides to go in my bathroom and feels the need to empty out my drawer of curling irons and such. Or she finds Scott's glass of water on his nightstand like I just discovered she just got to while I was typing this up. Go figure. At least it's just water and her pants will dry. I'm just amazed at how smart she is and how she figures things out. Oh and another thing I love is when I find the most random stuff in random places. Like her socks in the pantry. Remotes in the bathroom. binkies in drawers. My phone slid under the entertainment center or movies under the couch. It always makes me laugh. I'm just so thankful for her. Scott and I always say even if for some reason we have problems and can't have any other kids of our own at least we have her. She is just the greatest and so funny. I may be singing a different tune in another year or so but hopefully not.
