One thing I would love to do many times is go swimming. Love to swim and Deseret Peak has a nice big outdoor pool:

Have to go here are least once:
Boondocks. Love their mini golf. So much fun and there is a new one in Kaysville.

I also want to take Charlotte here for her first trip:
This is the Living Planet Aquarium. Scott and I have been here once but I know they added a penguin exhibit and I think its expanded a bit more. Nothing compared to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach or the Monteray Bay Aquarium but better than nothing!

Another first for Charlotte I'd like to do:
This is the entrance to the Red Butte Gardens. The only time I've been was in winter for my bday and hard to believe but it was beautiful then! So I can only imagine how amazing it is during spring and summer. I'd love to visit before it gets too hot. They just have some nice little walks and a kids area. Just a simple, cheap visit. Luckily I have a 2 for 1 coupon and Charlotte is free!

I've been here once but would love to go again and explore some more!:
Scott's family had a reunion a couple years ago and one of the things we did was go here. It was really fun and would love to see the whole place. Pretty cool place to visit and learn about the history of the pioneers.

So many other places I'd love to visit but Scott is busy with work and the only time we usually have is the weekends and we're busy every weekend through the rest of this month so it'd be cool to get this stuff in before winter but we'll see. I just think we're lucky to live where we do where we can get a small town type feel yet be so close to so much. Luckily we don't plan on moving for a very long time so there's tons of time to get around to the many things to do in Utah. Oh and I almost forgot one of my very favorite places to go in the summer:
This is at the entrance to Wildwood. Its at the turnoff at Sundance. Scott's grandparents co-own this little house/cabin with his great aunt.
Its nothing big but nice and cozy. It's a gated area so its pretty quiet. It's all shaded and I love to have all the windows open and listen to the wind rustle through the trees. Its so nice for us to just get up here and get away and spend time together. Not that we don't already spend all of our time together but its more relaxing up here. You can just take a break and
enjoy it with our little family. We take the dog up with us and just hang
out. Sometimes we'll drive up the Alpine loop or up to Heber. There's tons to do in the Utah Valley. We go out to dinner once (usually CPK... one of our fav's). There are nearby trails you can walk. A lot of them paved so you can take the stroller. Its really just a great cheap vacation. Scott and I have tried to go at least once but hopefully we can do 2 this year. Our summer isn't complete without one trip up here. I really look forward to it.

Red Butte wont happen anytime soon! SUCKS! I have never been there, I am hoping I can go to the cabin in August!!! Have fun with Charlotte!
Actually Red Butte says they'll be open still cuz they're upstream so hopefully I can make it here. How odd is it though that we have this oil spill nonsense here in Utah and then there is the huge thing in the gulf. So odd. You totally have to go to the cabin in Aug. Just relax and enjoy the fresh mtn air. So glad your grandparents have that. What a great thing for all their family.
