Another week gone... incredible...

I swear this summer is flying by. We had a pretty calm week. Scott's parents and his youngest brother traveled back east to do some touring of church history sites. Scott has had a couple cool pics texted to him. We're so jealous! We wanna take a trip like that sometime. Probably when our kids are older and able to remember more. I hope they took lots of pics because I really wanna see it all! So I've been starting to work on Charlotte's 365 photo book. July 27 is the last day so I decided to get a head start. I came across this site http://myldsmemories.ziblio.com/. For $35 I can create my own photo book from scratch. So I've been starting on that. It takes a lot of time to put the pics together. I've also been keeping a daily journal of what Charlotte does so I'm typing up stuff in the book too. So hopefully in August project 365 will be completed and bound. It'll be fun for her to have her whole life. I didn't learn about project 365 until she was 3 months old but in the future I can do it for any other kids we might have from birth to their first bday. I'm really excited to work on it. I don't like scrapbooking but scrapbooking online is really fun. Maybe because I don't have to cut and paste with scissors and a gluestick.

Well I have more pics as always. I went with Scott to mutual on Wed and took a couple pics there. Then Saturday we went to Red Butte Gardens and I got tons of pictures from there. It was nice to walk around the gardens and picnic and just enjoy being together. Then that afternoon we went my parents for dinner. We won't see the kids for like 3 weeks so we went over to play and eat and ride Mouse a bit. So yeah.... here's our pics.

So the youth played water kickball at a nearby building and Charlotte and I went to see everyone since it was an outdoor activity. Scott had fun being one of the kids. He was soaked by the end. The kids had a huge water fight in the end and they were nice enough to not include me :)  I love the pic of the Blackburn sisters in the trunk of their dad's car. They were soaked and he didn't want the seats getting wet. Luckily  its a minute drive home.

This is a really fun place to hang out and pretty inexpensive. We happened to have a half off coupon so it was only $6 for all of us. We brought a lunch and had a little picnic and Charlotte got to play in the water. Its just a nice little trip to take together as a family.

More pics from Red Butte Gardens. The water area is pretty cool and I love the shaded trail with the Oaks covering it. We wanna hike that when Charlotte is older.

So yesterday afternoon we had dinner with my family. They bought a little pool for the kids to play in and Chloe saddled up Mouse so we could all ride her around a bit. I think Charlotte enjoyed riding a little. Then we topped off the evening with smores. We had giant marshmallows too and you can see it ooze out of Izzy's smore. Good fun though.
