Kinda random

So I've had lots of stuff I've been thinking about and since I'm home with a 15 month old all day and she doesn't understand half of anything I say, I thought I'd just type it all out here. First off, we lost Scott's wedding ring. We can't find it anywhere. We have moved out our massive dresser the entertainment center and searched the garage and car. Nothing. So we may wait a couple months just to see if it happens to appear from the black hole it disappeared to. But in the meantime we'll check out new ones for him. His orginally was $300 with the warranty where it would be cleaned twice a year like mine. I need to take mine in to Jared's to get 'em shined up and all my diamonds checked. So we'll probably do that Sat and check out what they have for Scott. They have some $100 ones that look nice. Hopefully he'll like something like this:

Okay so another thing I've been thinking about... painting. I need to do some painting. I feel like our house is blah and I think a little color will spruce it up. First I want to do Charlotte's bathroom. Now for anyone that knows me, they know I love the beach and I love tropical type stuff. Basically what the whole theme of our house will be. Our room is one of my favorite paint colors called manor gray. It's a darker greenish gray type color. We had painted our living room in Cali with it and I loved it. Then right when we bought our house and had taken a quick trip back to clean up after a tenant we found more of it. So our bedroom was painted and I think it went really well with our comforter. It's kinda like a little hawaiian plantation dream. Then the free furniture I got from my Grandpa's storage unit really completed the design. Or so I like to think. So moving on to Charlotte's room I'd like to do something cute and fun. My parents had finished going through stuff from their move and found some things we were gonna do in my bathroom in Cali but never did. There was a mirror with this wood wave design around it painted a light blue. Then there is a white shelf with a wave design and a towel rack with a wave design too. She also found a shower curtain that's white with seahorses and stuff on it. I think she had gotten it from pottery barn or something. Its really cute and will make a cute little girls bathroom. So I put the shower curtain up to give me a little inspiration and I'm thinking I wanna go with a light purple. I'm gonna go look at some colors this evening probably. I can paint her bathroom really quick since its smaller. I'm really excited to have a project. My mom had also given me some little things I can hang on the wall too. They're nice and brightly colored. Oh and after looking at this site called vinylize it I saw this really cute sticker I wanted. I had seen it on my giveaway today and they had it for only $3 so I ordered it in a light purple color and I'll put in on the mirror. Here's what it says:

I thought it'd be cute since Charlotte is getting bigger and will eventually be potty training and what not and washing hands is super important especially during the flu season. So this will be a nice little addition.

So now that I've got painting fever I think I wanna re-do our bathroom. It needs a little color. The navajo white isn't working for me anymore. I have no clue what color though. I just know it can't be green. As much as I love the color green I can't paint every room that color so I need to find something that flows from manor gray....wish me luck with that.

Okay what's next.... tomorrow. Tomorrow is Lagoon day for the Transcript Bulletin. Really excited to go but kinda nervous how Charlotte's gonna hold up. I think Lagoon-a-beach will help since she loves the water. So we're definitely bringing our swimsuits with us. I just hope she lasts.

So everyone knows I love to cook. I found these super cute aprons online and would love to get one for me and Charlotte when she's older. I tried making butterscotch cinnamon rolls for the first time ever today and Charlotte stood next to me on a chair the whole time. It was so cute. She ate a banana and played with measuring spoons and bowls. So I think it'd be cute for us to have matching aprons so she could help me cook.
So how totally cute is this one. They have them in adult and child sizes. My butterscotch cinnamon rolls didn't come out as planned. The recipe didn't say anything about greasing the muffin tin so I didn't but should of and the recipe you use is a biscuit recipe so its a little flakier. It wasn't as gooey as I hoped but with some quick thinking I found a butterscotch glaze recipe online and in about 15 min had a nice glaze and man, tasted quite yummy. Hopefully next time around it'll all come out better now that I know.

Now this last thing is something I really really want. I love to take pictures. I don't think I'm a great photographer really but I love to experiment and mess with cameras. I'm also really loving this project 365 I've been working on for Charlotte and would love more than anything to have an amazing camera to take amazing pictures. I really really really want a SLR camera. How totally sweet would that be. Quite expensive and definitely can't afford to fork over a few hundred but maybe someday. So that is one item on my wishlist... along with an ipod with at least 20gb. I know I shouldn't be greedy since I have a camera that works and an ipod that works fairly well. But it can't hurt to dream right?

So anyway, just some random thoughts.

I dont even own an Ipod...so if you get a new, I am more than willing to take the old one off your hands! Also, I have been meaning to ask you. What did you win on Giveaway today?

You could use my old one. It has Audrey Christensen inscribed on the back and it doesn't hold charge anymore. I can only play it in my car when its plugged in all the time. Sometimes it does weird things too like skip songs or not switch songs when I want it to... its taken a beating over the last 6 or 7 years... however long I've had it now. Oh and I won 2 shake samples and a recipe card from Shakeology. Can't complain about free stuff!
