Quick little update

Well its been a while since I posted and I'm hoping to try and get around to posting my recent pics and stuff in the next day or two. It's gotten busy over here! I've started to help coach volleyball with another lady in our ward so Tuesdays we practice for an hour or more which means Charlotte's naps have to work out just right so she's not super grumpy when we go. Then on Thursdays we have a game or two. Last week just seemed crazy with volleyball and my dr. appt. and the temple. We got to go to the temple to do initiatories which I hadn't done since I went through for the first time. Then we went out to dinner afterward and had a lot of fun. We have some really great people in our ward and I love any opportunity I get to talk to them more and get to know them better. Oh yeah and the whole dr appt. thing. Just supposed to be my yearly but of course I have other issues as well. As far as the stress on the bladder and lack of control when that happens.... well good news is some kegels will help that out in the mean time but he said most likely when I'm done having kids I'll probably have to have that surgery to support my bladder up. I'm pretty sure that is laparoscopic so shouldn't be too bad. Then while I was in there I figured I better tell him about my right ovary pain that had been acting up. It's been doing it on and off the last few months and was going for about a week straight. He didn't notice anything in the exam and said it could be just scar tissue but decided on an ultrasound just to make sure there is nothing starting to grow again. So Oct 7 I'll go in and just check it out and hopefully it won't be another cyst.

I'm trying to think what else has gone on.....Scott's Uncle Gary got married last Sat. and it was really nice to see him and all his kids because they are all so awesome and I wish we saw them more. We also got to meet his new wife for the first time. She seems really nice and we'll hopefully get to know her a little better since they'll be living not too far. I do miss his first wife Renee a lot though. I feel like its been so long since we saw her at Scott's cousin's wedding this past May. She is just one of the nicest and sweetest ladies you'll ever meet. So I'm really excited Karly (another one of Scott's cousins) is getting married in Nov so we can see them all again. Plus we get a nice little trip up to Idaho in the process so I can't complain.

Oh yeah, big news.... we FINALLY got our very own internet. We've been using a neighbors but I think they haven't been paying their bill or something so last week was rough. But we finally buckled and are paying for our own. It'll be another $40 bucks a month but since Scott got a raise not too long ago and we've gotten much better at managing our money, I think we'll be good. They just came out yesterday and did it and I'm just relieved although we did have to spend a little more than planned because we needed a router for the laptop but it was half the price to buy our own and do it ourselves then have the company give us one and they'd install it. Yeah $40 as opposed to $80..... I'll do it myself thank you. I also got to do a little canning last night for my very first time ever. I decided when our ward does canning I really need to participate and do some because we need to work on food storage so I went and did carrots and hot cocoa. So exciting.

Anyway, I think that is it for my update for now. I've gotta try and post the next couple days because next week we head up to the cabin for conference weekend. Yahoo! So excited to get up there one last time before they lock it up for winter. I should have a ton of pics from there because I wanna do the Alpine Loop and Cascade Springs. Pretty much a tradition for us since AAA voted it one of the best drives to view the changing fall colors. It's gorgeous up there... especially all those aspens! Amazing! So anyway.... hopefully I'll post again soon!

I miss Aunt Renee too. She'll always be the aunt though. I wish it had worked out more for them.

I know, me too. So sad when things like that happen but that's life I guess. I just hope she'll still come out and visit. We all miss her!
