Day 21 of 30

Something that upsets me and a picture of something that makes me happy.
Today I get to visit both ends of the spectrum!
One thing that always drives me crazy is stupid drivers. Ask anyone that knew me back in Cali.... I have road rage. Luckily I've been able to tone it down and I behave much better when people are in the car with me. Especially when I'd drive the youth around. Always super careful with other people's kids. But I am amazed every time I drive in UT at how many people don't pay attention when they drive. I go nuts and its no wonder so many kids die in accidents out here. Just the other night driving back from my parents one person went by and left their brights on the whole time. Even after me flashing mine at them. My retinas were melted out after that but seriously people.... learn the rules! Then I had a feeling these cars ahead might give me issues. They have a stop but I do not. The speed limit is 45 mph but I slowed down and of course this car goes right in front of me. And who's driving? Some teenager... TALKING ON HIS PHONE! I honked multiple times while I had to break rather hard and he just kinda looks over at me with my headlights beaming on him. Does he realize that I could've killed him or injured him really badly? I would've hit him right where he was sitting! Good thing I'm extra cautious and don't trust people out here worth a darn because they are so careless. I could go on forever but driving around sometimes really makes me mad. I just don't see how people take it so lightly. I've seen so much stupidity out here its ridiculous....yet I still love to live here :)

Then a pic of something that makes me happy:
I love temples. They are not only beautiful inside and out but there are amazing things that go on inside. One thing very important to me is sealings. I am so thankful that I was able to be sealed to my family at just under a year old and I'm also thankful I was able to be sealed to my husband so that all of our kids that we have are automatically born under the covenant and as long as we all keep the promises we made here on earth, we all get to be together for all eternity!  Really the gospel in general makes me happy. But this is one thing for sure that brings me happiness. I've finally started putting up all my temple pics so now I can be surrounded by these beautiful buildings and remember what I need to do to continue to go there. True happiness... really.

amen to the driving thing. worst drivers ever. we have had several times where people tried to turn left from the right hand turn lane. and three times where people were driving on the wrong side of the road.

i swear this is the only place where two days in a row poeple caused accidents from driving the wrong way on the freeway!

anyway....um....yes...i agree. ha
