Day 3 of 30 part 2

Alright... part 2.... my idea of the perfect first date. Hmmmmm......
Well I never really dated. I went on one date with one guy. I had 2 boyfriends who never took me on dates. But then I met Scott. I'll talk about our first official date. I may have driven. I can't really remember. We went to California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) and decided to take it over to Temple Square. We sat down on the north side of the little river thing between the Church Office Bldg and the reflection pool. He had a BBQ chicken pizza and I had my Tostada pizza (we always get the same thing). We sat and talked while we ate. Then once we were done we walked around temple square and took pics with the statues like we always do. We also walked around the conference center. Now to some people it may not be the most exciting thing but I just loved to spend time with Scott so it didn't matter what we did. As long as I was with him.
Now the reason I think this date was so perfect was because Scott wanted to recreate it for when he proposed to me. I knew we were gonna get married because I picked out the ring like mid January. I just didn't know when Scott would propose. He ended up paying off the ring sooner than he told me... little liar :)
So yeah, he proposed in our little spot we always take our CPK to on temple square. It wasn't anything big or extravagant but it was perfect. He knew I didn't like a lot of attention so he wanted to do it in a quiet area. So that's why that date seemed so perfect to me.
