Because although he loves to play his video game (as do I....another thing we have in common) he knows when to play and when to not. I hear so many stories about people's husbands who are addicted to playing video games and will spend hours a day playing them. They let it consume their lives. They stay up way too late. They let it interfere with spending time with their wife and kids. It just takes over everything. Then you read about the serious cases where it affects a person's job them being late to work or not wanting to work so they can play. Or eventually it can lead to divorce in the most extreme cases. I am just so thankful that my husband will play either when Charlotte is down for bed or a nap. Sometimes I tell him to play because I know he wants to and Charlotte and I can watch a movie or something. But I'm so so so very thankful he never neglects us and doesn't dedicate all his free time to playing. Not everyone is so lucky and it's something I always thank him for.
