Behold your little ones...

About a month ago I got the primary manual "Behold your little ones." I knew that once Charlotte is about 2 she'll be able to understand things a little better as our communication grow. I wanted to start using that manual for family home evenings with her. Well we haven't done that just yet but I decided I'm going to set aside time in the day where I can teach Charlotte one of those lessons to start teaching her the things that I love so very much.  Plus I want her to be able to sit down for a few minutes with no tv or other distractions and be able to focus on learning. I'm not sure how she does in nursery with that but I figure that would only help.

So Friday morning we ate and then did our lesson and sang I am a child of God. She saw the picture that she could color in the book so I made a copy on our printer and let her color. Then I decided to grab some of the roll end we had in the garage and laid some paper out on the coffee table and we colored. The best part was Charlotte's first little scribble. She was saying something I didn't quite get but she was acting all weird and almost scared. She does the funnies thing... its almost twitchy. So then I'm like "Did you draw a spider?" and she says "Yeah." In the super cute way that she does. So her little scribbles were her first spider drawing and it creeped her out. She's so silly. I also took pics of our other stuff. So here's our creations:

After this I realized I needed to work out since we'd be gone for the night so Charlotte and I then danced around the living room for about 45 min. We had fun dancing in the living room. I had weights in my hands so I'd try and do things I've learned to the music. Actually quite fun and a good workout!
