Well I can't just pick one so here's the 3 things I'm looking forward to most that are in the near future.
First, as odd as this might be for some people, is my monthly cycle. I want my body to do something so I can see if I have some kind of pattern or if I don't. So far I'm on day 26 so we'd be looking at a close to 40 day cycle but last time it was 64 days. So if that's the case then I have to wait until around Mother's day to be ovulating. So I think after this cycle I'll have a better idea and if I don't get pregnant this time around, then I'll set up an appointment with the doctor to try to figure what's going on. Maybe I can get back on metformin to help me out and help me shed a few more pounds. That would be grand. So if I don't get pregnant hopefully I'll be able to see my doctor before July. He's always super booked. If I don't get put back on birth control there is a chance I'll end up having a baby right around Charlotte's 3rd birthday. Can you tell I've thought about it all a bit? I try not to but when it seems like everyone around you is pregnant its hard not to. My house is getting quite clean and we've been doing a little bit in our yard but there is only so much I can do to keep busy. So I'll probably just whine and complain more on my blog about it so sorry :) Well enough of that.... I could go on for hours....
Second, my 5 year anniversary is coming up. We should be getting our buy one get one free for The Roof. Scott requested the day off and we're not sure what we're gonna do besides that. I'm sure I have coupons to stuff or we could do a little sightseeing in SLC. Oh I might have tickets to a motor cross thing at Rocky Mtn Raceways. That's already paid for so we could even do that. Who knows... we'll see. I just can't believe its almost been 5 yrs. We still feel like newlyweds. It's so weird to us thinking that we've been in our house 3 yrs now and we've had Charlotte for 2. Wow! Time flies!
Third, is our yearly trip to the cabin. Right now we have some debt to pay off and can't afford to really go anywhere else. We are super lucky that Scott's grandparents have this super cute little cabin up Provo Canyon. It'll cost us some gas and basically what we'd normally pay for food so I'll just be cooking up there instead. We are kinda hoping to go over the 4th of July weekend. We want to try and stay almost a week. We thought maybe we could leave a Friday night and be gone until Wed so Scott would only have to take off 2 days of work and be back by the paper day. Thursdays he usually gets 12-14 hrs. This all depends on how much vacation time he has. His doesn't refresh until the end of July. Then it all depends on who has the cabin. We were pretty sure his Aunt had the 4th and 24th last year so we think Scott's grandparents have it but we'll have to see. He has to talk to them first. If none of that works then we'll have to figure something out. I think Scott will so be ready for a vacation by then though. He works so hard. Any guy that puts in as many hours as he does deserves at least one vacation a year. We just have to be careful how much time he takes off because the overtime is how we pay our bills. Without it we could not survive.
So that's about it. Those are things I look forward to most right now.... in 3-6 months that will probably change... at least I hope ALL of those will change :)
