Day 16

So day 16 would be my dream house. So ideally I would love to buy a plot of land and have my father in law design a house (he's an architect) and have my dad design the HVAC and then have someone build it. Of course this is all "in a perfect world" type of thing. I think it'd be so sweet to have a 5 acre plot and to design it into like you're own park. Cedar Works has some amazing playground sets that would be so sweet to have in the yard and then just landscape everything else. Nice big shade trees and tons of flowers and a garden and orachard. Then I'd love to have a nice spacious house.... anything from like 3000 to 4000 sq ft... any more than that and it'd be a heck of a lot of cleaning. I really like ramblers so something like that. I love earthy tones and I love the whole stucco and rock for the exterior. Inside I'd love to have bedrooms for each kid. I'd love a big family room in the basement with a huge sectional and a nice big tv so we could do like the wii or xbox kinect and watch movies. Main floor laundry is a must and I'd love to have a bigger laundry room. A master suite would be awesome with a big bathroom sporting a nice jetted tub and a huge shower with a couple of shower heads. I love big showers. One of my most favorite showers is at Scott's great aunt's. They have the most amazing house and I love the guest shower they have. It doesn't have a door. It's kinda hard to explain but its like inside the wall almost. I dunno... its really cool though. I'd of course have to have a large spacious kitchen with tons of counter space and a nice big island would be handy. When I get cooking I love to have tons of room. Our house now has way more than the apt did but with all my cooking stuff... I could totally use more. It gets crowded quick. But I really can't complain too much. I would also love nice high ceilings. I love to feel very open and airy. Need my space! I know its a much bigger pain for heating and cooling but with the right HVAC system you could eliminate hot and cold spots and design it right. I would also love to have a porch all the way around the house with a nice big deck on back. It'd be sweet here in Tooele because you could have some amazing views of the mountains or lake. With the right location the porch could have 360 views of the thunderstorms in the summer which I love. Oh and maybe going off from the kitchen to the deck there could be a screened porch with fans too. I'd love that! There are just so many things I'd love to have. Do I need them.... no. But maybe someday. Even if its smaller I'd still love to have my father in law design a house for us. It would be so neat to have him do something just for us. So yeah.... that's my dream house... in a nutshell :)
