Day 4

Squeeze this one in before midnight.... I'm so tired right now. It's been a long day/week.

Day 4 is my parents. Of course I have no picture to go....well....nope.... here's one of me and my mom right after delivering Charlotte. I look pretty awesome. My mom's got her sleeves all rolled up too helping hold my leg up while a pushed for an hour and a half. She was pretty awesome that day. Scott needed the help so he wouldn't get woozy :)

I probably have a pic of my dad somewhere but that's besides the point.

My parents are awesome... as most people would probably say about their parents. They met in high school. My mom had basically grown up in So Cal her whole life... well, La Mirada to be exact. Then my dad moved around quite a bit before ending up in La Mirada himself. His dad worked for Chevron so they were in Spokane and Walla Walla, WA and then AZ too....maybe Prescott or Scottsdale? Can't remember. So yeah, high school sweethearts. My mom was Catholic my dad was Mormon. They got married outta high school and got pregnant with my bro right away. Took another 10 yrs to get me. A month before my mom had me she joined the church and a year after that my brother and I were sealed to my parents in the LA temple. My parents taught us well and raised us all to be good kids. They taught me how to work hard and not expect something back for it but just that feeling knowing you accomplished something or, when applicable, you were helping someone else. They taught us the importance of education. Most importantly they taught me to love the gospel. I also learned that no matter what other people do or what other decisions they make, not to blame the church for it. Being a member has been the only thing that brings me true happiness. Although everything around me can be negative or falling apart, that is the one thing that will stand true until the end. I hope this all makes sense. I'm so tired right now and can hardly think straight. Maybe I'll get around to posting the many pics I have this weekend. Maybe...
