Okay so a couple weeks ago Scott and I decided to use our half off coupon for The Roof. My parent's were gonna watch Charlotte so we thought we'd take her to the aquarium in the morning and get her worn out so she'd take a good nap for them. Well she kinda slept in the car and wouldn't nap and ended up being grumpy while we were gone. Oh well. We tried. But anyway, I did take some pics at the aquarium that morning.
Charlotte was really liking the jellyfish this trip. We got lucky enough to watch them feed the penguins. They are so cute. I always love the green tree python. They are so cute! Then they have this new exhibit there. I don't know if its permanent. But its like animal heroes or something. They had those scorpions there and you push this button and they like glow under a black light. Pretty sweet.
My little bug playing around. This is the kid with endless energy. She liked the little caves to crawl around in.
Some other pics I took. I love the aquarium. I can't wait until they get into their new building and are able to expand. SLC needs a big aquarium. I miss the Long Beach one so bad but we'll see what their new one is gonna be like.
So like I mentioned that night Scott and I had dinner at The Roof. It was incredible as always. They had some really good entrées. The desserts were great as always. Oh and they do have their new cookbook out. I need to buy it. Scott and I were super entertained by this guy and girl on a date near us. It was funny listening in to their conversation. I told him I had hoped we weren't that lame when we went out when we were dating. We had a really good time though. And it only cost us $57 with tip. Go us! Still expensive for a dinner but we rarely eat there and rarely go on dates so we figured it would be ok. So nice to have a date night every now and again.
