So last week Monday Scott's boss wanted him to take in a job to SLC. He made a suggestion that we could all go. It'd easily fit in my trunk. So we hurried and finished our dinner then picked up the job and headed it. It was a rather windy day but was trying to think of something kind of cheap to do. Since we had to go to California Ave right off the 215 I was thinking Sugarhouse park. Not too far and out of the hood. So we drove up to the east side. I thought it'd be funny to count how many Subarus we'd see while driving down 21st south from like 7th or 8th E up to the park. I counted like 20 something. That was always something my boss joked about. Sugarhouse was full of liberals and they all drove a Subaru usually with some kind of liberal sticker on them. Yeah... dead on. But Sugarhouse is really a cool place. I love it up there. Especially the park. There is a pond with ducks and geese (and seagulls) to feed. Of course I didn't get bread though. Go me. So Charlotte just chased them around. We did see a couple babies with their parents though. They were so cute!
Then there is the video of Charlotte running around. Silly girl.
After checking out the ducks we headed over to one of the playgrounds and let Charlotte run around a bit. She of course had fun going down the slides and playing on the swings. It was hard to get her to leave but someone we managed. At first we told her we'd go get ice cream if she came. She said no. She could care less. Ice cream means nothing to her. So instead I told her to chase daddy and that worked. We did still get ice cream. We don't have Baskin Robbins in Tooele so we went there. I looooooove their Reese's sundae and I'm lucky to get it once a year. It's amazing. So I got that and Scott shared a shake with Charlotte. Then we headed home to get ready for bed. It was our nice little fhe out in SLC. Always nice. Oh yeah, here's the other pics:
