Scott's birthday

So we kinda did a double celebration for Scott's bday. Monday we went over to his parents for some cake and ice cream. First we met his mom at Big 5 and Scott got a couple pairs of shoes. It has been a long time since we bought him new shoes and he really needed some. His were so beat. So he got a nice casual pair and some new outdoor bball ones. Which will look great with the new bball shorts I had bought him. It was nice being over at his parents too so we could see Savannah. They had recently found out she had a really big tumor that was growing in her stomach and taking over her liver. It was bad. She had dropped a lot of weight and it all seemed to happen so fast. They ended up putting her down yesterday. It was good to see her one last time. She was such a sweet dog and you could tell she just wasn't herself. The good thing is that its not the last time we'll see her and she'll be up there waiting for all of us when our time comes. That always has brought me comfort when we've lost our other pets. So although Monday was kinda sad knowing it was probably the last time we'd see her we did enjoy our time up there. I took a few pics of the kids while up there.

And I took a couple little videos of Jackson. I was trying to get him to talk but all you can hear is his whistling nose but he's moving quite a bit. He loves to kick.

The second video Charlotte came running in. You can see her attitude. She doesn't like being distracted and I was distracting her from getting water I guess. Heaven forbid. The little punk wouldn't even say hi to her Uncle Rick when he came in. Oh and he got Scott some mate for his bday. We need to borrow his parent's mate cup so we can have some. Not like its that good but its a fun Argentine thing.


So on Scott's birthday he did have to work. We got Cafe Rio for lunch and were able to have lunch with him. Then we went over to my parents. My brother made it over too. So we hung out with them. My brother got Scott a gift card to Fanzz and my mom had bought him a pair of jeans and some work boots. I had mentioned how Scott hadn't had new shoes in a while. He burns through them at work mainly so his old stuff at home ends up there and because he's on his feet all the time (I think his last pay period which was the 1st through the 15th he had 133 hours total) he just flies through shoes. My dad is on his feet a lot so my mom got him some work boots like my dad's and we are hoping they help and hold up. His feet will hurt after a really long day. So Scott got a lot of great stuff for his bday. Stuff he can actually use. I'm just so glad he got some new shoes. I had wanted to do something for him but we spent some extra money on some yard stuff and it just wasn't gonna work out. So yay for him! I think I only took one pic at my parent's. It was this... little man sleeping on his Dad. So cute.

So all in all I think Scott had a good bday and he's finally the same age as me. Now I'm not the older woman with a younger guy (you know that whopping 3 months and 8 day difference). Love my Scooter Bug!
