Zoo

Scott's mom had got us a year pass for the zoo for Charlotte's bday and we hadn't used it yet. So we finally had some free time to go and went this past Saturday morning. We got away a little later than planned so we had to park across the street from the zoo but it still wasn't too bad. The weather was warm but not horrible and it was neat to see the new exhibit. Plus we got to make use of the wagon my mom had bought us for Charlotte's bday. It has a canopy too so that's even better. Charlotte walked around anyway but we put all our food in there so we didn't have to spend any money. Except for a few bucks so Charlotte could pick out a little gift. I got a few pics but I must have left my setting on manual or something from the concert because they came out kinda grainy and weird. My camera is also  6 1/2 yrs old and to me that doesn't seem old but in technology years that's turning ancient :) So they're not the best pictures but someday I might be lucky enough to have a better camera... add that to my mile long list!

He's always so happy!

We always like to take these pictures because there is one of Scott when he was little and its super cute so we have to do one of Charlotte.
We were hoping she'd sit on the gorillas shoulders but she was too shy. Little punk.
She did climb on the elephant though when she saw other kids doing it.
Jackson is mastering the grabbing of the toes and occasionally chewing on them
The brown bears were playing in the water over at the new Rocky Shores exhibit. It was hard to see them though because it was kinda crowded and people were being rather rude cutting in front of us. I was not to happy considering my most recent concert experience where I was really disappointed in people's manners.
The polar bear of course was chillin' and didn't turn around

And the dude crashed toward the end. I felt bad and wrapped an ice pack in a burp cloth and put it on his tummy because we were sitting in the sun while Charlotte played on the playground. I was afraid he'd get too toasty in his carseat.
