Glen and Hailey Reception

Scott's cousin Glen was married on the 24th I believe. Scott had the next week off for our family vacation so he needed to work that Friday before. We couldn't make the sealing or luncheon but did get to the reception. Probably the longest drive we had with the kids at that point. Like an hour and 40 min. It was in Mapleton. We tried to leave early so we could eat. We were hoping to do Culver's but both kids were out as we approached Saratoga Springs so I opted for Pioneer Parkway instead of trying to go through Lehi. We found like nothing in Mapleton for food but found a McDonald's in Springville. We all ate and got the kids changed and ended up being like a half hour late because we traveled into Mapleton first then had to back track a ton. Of course as soon as we get there Charlotte sees the playground in the backyard. Fantastic. Really wish that wasn't there. It was a really nice reception but she was kind of a monster. I didn't get to see and talk to all of Scott's family like we wanted. But enough I guess.

The reception was really pretty. Especially as it got dark. They look so happy together and it was nice to finally meet Hailey. She seems really sweet. They had some good little treats too. We brought the kids pjs so they could crash. We didn't get home until almost 11. It was kinda rough but always good to see family and celebrate.

Rick was so awesome to hang out with Charlotte while we went through the line. Such a good uncle!
