Charlotte was messing around and Scott and I had told her to calm down and watch what she was doing. Of course we were ignored like always and then she trips over her slide and hits her mouth on the coffee table. There was a ton of blood right away but I couldn't see where from. All I knew was her teeth were all in place so that's good. Once the bleeding slowed we figured it out. Eventually that piece of skin will be cut back from the dentist anyway. Once those two front teeth are gone. So she just did part of the work herself. :) It didn't seem to affect her too much. She never whined much afterwards and seemed fine. Within a couple days it was fine
Charlotte has loved the days we spent outside getting the yard either decorated or cleaned up. She likes to ride her trike. She's getting so much better and does a really good job riding. Scott and I were wondering if she'd ever get the hang of it.
Charlotte will forever be goofy. She likes to put on this skirt with her silver sparkle shoes and run around. I think she went like this to the store one day and I was too tired to care if she changed or not. At least she wasn't in pjs at 3 or 4 in the afternoon like other kids I've seen at Walmart! :)
Charlotte and I tried working on some crafts for Halloween. We did sugar cookies which were great but my first round of frosting was awful! I don't know what went wrong. I measured everything right and could not fix it. But the second go produced some super yummy Halloween cookies. We also made some spiders that we ended up moving from inside to put outside on our spider web. I had others planned but the only time we had to do them were Jackson's naps and I swear Charlotte it always super naughty then so I could never get it done. I've got the stuff for next year though!
Charlotte is getting to be a little bossy pants. I heard this past Sunday she was trying to be queen of the nursery the other day. Fantastic. I asked her if she was bossing the other kids around and she told me she was taking toys from the other kids. I tried to have a little chat with her about being nice but who knows how well that went over. I don't know if she listened much but why the heck is she like that? I was so not like that and she doesn't really play with any other kids. I wouldn't expect her to take over like that. She is bossy with Jackson though. I just don't know where she learns it from.
She is still very creative. She likes to draw and color and paint. She makes me laugh at the stuff she says. Of course a lot of it is stuff she picks up from me like "you're driving me nuts" or using the word "frustrated." She likes to sing songs. She'll sing all kinds of stuff. She watches this Baby Bratz movie on netflix and sings some song from that quite a bit right now. It's cute. We've kind of cut out her naps. When we'd have her take them she wouldn't go to bed until like 10 or 11. She'd have the hardest time falling asleep. So sometimes the evenings are hard when she's getting tired and grumpy but she goes to bed between 8 and 9 and sleeps until somewhere between 6 and 7:30. The time change has kind of thrown her off but hopefully it'll adjust itself. I think that's about it for her. I really need to update more because I forget stuff way too easily!
