We don't have a ton of decorations. I debated putting stuff up until Halloween because who knows what kinds of storms we'd get and with the wind we get you never know what can happen. But a few days before I put this stuff up. Mainly spider web and our pirate flag but a little something. I did make a Halloween wreath out of tulle this year but you can't see it because the flag is in the way. Oh well. It was cute though. Black sparkle tulle with orange and then I made some purple rosette's for it.
Monday night for FHE we carved our pumpkins. I let Charlotte pick the designs and I carved away. Charlotte loses interest fast and Jackson just gets into everything so I was good just taking care of it myself. Charlotte picked this spider, Brobee and Hello Kitty. Brobee was harder because our pumpkin was so small so I had to scale it down and draw it on myself. Not too bad.
Charlotte dressed up as Rapunzel. We scored this little outfit for $20 at Costco including the wig. Not too shabby.
I did her makeup. The dollar store had the perfect pink and purple colors to do it.
I figured I'd dress up since I was taking Charlotte around. I got out my Ariel dress I've had for probably about 10 yrs now. Then I talked to my sister about doing my hair. She wanted to do my hair and make up so I let her. She had fun.
Scott and Jackson stayed home to hand out candy. I found Jackson's little outfit on clearance at Old Navy. I didn't plan on him dressing up but knew he'd be super cute in it. Scott said it would've been better if it was Superman. He had a little obsession as a kid so maybe next year. I think his parent's have an old Superman outfit or something.
We trick or treated from like 6:30 to 9 I think. Charlotte did not want to give up. We went to just about every house that was handing out candy. There were a lot of people that weren't. And we only needed one potty break. Luckily we weren't too far from home. Charlotte had a lot of fun. She was super excited to be out and thank goodness it warmed up after our snow the week before. It was such a nice warm night to be out!
