Christmas decorating

We put our tree up on Saturday but hadn't had time to decorate it. So we thought we'd spend our FHE doing that. I put up some garland and other things and Scott and Charlotte tackled the tree. Charlotte got to put the star on top. She was really excited about that. We didn't do a ton of ornaments because Jackson can reach the ones down low. But it's a really nice tree and I love having a fresh tree. I told Scott that is one battle I would fight for every year. I have to do a fresh tree. :) I snagged a couple pics. I should've checked my setting but I didn't so I have some blurry pictures. They didn't look that bad on the tiny screen. Oh well. In the last picture you can kind of see the tree skirt. We had had one that I think was Scott's parent's before but last year his Grandma Bennion made us one as a gift and we got to use it this year. I think its so cool. It's gold with red and green and its all sparkly and I love that she made it. Fun and flashy!

We're ready for this holiday season! Almost all gifts ordered minus a couple. I'm going to be able to sit back and enjoy this season. So glad I got shopping done early. This is going to be a fun year and Jackson's first Christmas!
