Since April 8 we had been trying to get to the cemetery to see Scott's grandparent's grave site. It was one year on the 8th that his grandma has passed away and we thought it'd make a nice fhe activity. Well it took us like a month to get there. The weather would just not cooperate with us. But we finally made it. We also walked around and in the same area Scott had a couple friend's grandparents buried there so we stopped at those too. Afterwards we stopped at Dairy Delight for some ice cream. It was a nice evening to get out. Scott and I have also decided it would be really cool to have some huge elaborate grave site. We definitely want a bench. But one that's just really really big. So you have to walk up some steps to sit on it. And it should be lit up and just stand out. We thought that would be funny. Scott thought it'd be neat to have a camera on him in the coffin with a tv on the outside so people could see him deteriorate. Nice... my husband... he's a funny one. I wish we would have had more time. We were going to find his cousin, Suzy's, site but it was getting late and we didn't have time to walk around with the kids. Hopefully some other time we can explore around some more. I just have a fascination with cemeteries. Especially when you can find really old headstones. I just always wonder the history behind it. I'd like to explore the older ones in the area since there is a lot of history here in the county.
Tried to get a picture of these two but you can see that didn't go so well. Jackson didn't want to sit and Charlotte didn't want him to get up. Awesome picture. This explains how most days are :)
Jackson just loved to run around
This is Grandma Ruby's site. This was the funeral we had gone to a few weeks ago. She finally gets to be with her hubby again.
