Pioneer Day at Lagoon

Every year on Pioneer Day Scott's work gives their families tickets to Lagoon and provides lunch. Which is pretty sweet because Lagoon is expensive for what it is so free trip once a year sounds good to me! This year was fun being able to take Charlotte on more and Jack too. Jackson got more scared and Charlotte said she was scared of stuff and then would want to go again. Scott and I didn't really go on anything we really wanted to which we figured would happen with the kids. Had we had the money and a sitter that could handle the kids all day we would have loved to have gone back on a date but yeah... we're not that lucky! We're lucky to get like two dates a year without the kids (outside of temple trips). Most the time if we can't take the kids we won't go. So it was a little disappointing when there were some things we wanted to do but just never got around to it since we had plans to do fireworks later on.

We saw his mom and sister in law there with her kids. His brother had back surgery so he didn't go. Then later his brother Mark and his family showed up and so did his dad and his younger brother Rick with his friend. We were kind of hoping there was something between Rick and his friend. She was a week away from leaving on her mission. Super nice girl but I guess they were just friends. After lunch we hung out with Mark's family and Rick. It was fun to see them all and chat and let the kids go on some kiddie rides together. Charlotte loved hanging out with Mylee. We wished we could have stayed longer but had to get home. But it was another fun Pioneer Day at Lagoon courtesy of the Transcript.

Scott rode the swings with her because she was a little scared.
We tried to get Jackson on the helicopter too but he was crying. Charlotte liked it though.

 Cute little punk.

Me and Charlotte on the lady bug drop thing. She was kinda scared.

Mylee took Charlotte on the airplanes. She loved that.
